I went here for an eye exam and new glasses 2 years ago - I'm writing this review at a later point because I recently went to a different place, and the experience was much different! I really appreciated how Granada Hills took the time to answer so many questions of mine: they explained buying glasses at the optometry office vs. buying online, measured and marked the focal point of my lenses, and made sure to adjust my glasses so they were the perfect fit before sending them out. The service was top-notch! I'm only going to a different place now because I've moved away, but I 100% recommend this place.

Finally decided to have an eye exam after about 7 yrs. Was referred to GH optometry and all I can say is wow! Service was top notch and thorough. From start to finish, they treated me well. Dr. Mak was great, professional and knowledgeable. Elizabeth was very helpful, knowledgeable and very kind. She helped me with my initial tests and pick my frame! Very awesome staff! The wait was too long but the results were excellent. I liked the technology that was used and that the latest technology was employed. The doctor was very friendly and communicative. The optician tho was fabulous. She really knew her business and helped me chose lenses. She was innovative in her solving measurement problems (progressive lenses) and she was able to make decisions without needing approval from higher up. And everyone acted and dressed like a professional.

My son broke his glasses and really needed a new pair ASAP so that he could continue being awesome at school. I checked 3 other locations, this one was the only one able to squeeze an appointment in for my kiddo so that he could get both his eyes checked and a new pair of glasses immediately!! Everything went smoothly, the staff was amazing, friendly, and eager to assist with a smile. We got an appointment the same day, eyes checked, and got the new glasses in hand in under an hour and a half. Definitely the best optometric office in the valley, if not Los Angeles.

They will call from an unknown number and cancel your appointment if you don't call/text back. I work with clients and schedule appointments. Clients not showing up costs me money. I would NEVER cancel an appointment just because they didn't return my call. Poor business model where they show no respect for the patients' time. They have lost my family's business. DO NOT GO HERE!

I've been going to Dr. Melnik at Granada Hills Optometry Center for many years. I could get a free eye exam through my medical insurance at their own facility, but I would sooner pay for it myself at GHOC. I believe they have the best equipment and experienced staff to make sure my eyes are healthy and that my glasses fit and are comfortable. Very nice, professional and friendly people. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I have been to several different optometrists before, but this one is definitely the best! The staff and doctors are extremely friendly and helpful. For once, a doctor actually took the time to explain to me what my eye condition was. The exams conducted are extensive so you know you are getting a detailed diagnostic. I would most definitely recommend this optometry center.
