I had a disappointing experience at this medical office primarily due to their deceptive billing practices and poor customer service. While I cannot fault the doctor and treatment received, the billing department's practices were unacceptable.
I encountered hidden fees, unclear billing statements, and what I perceived as abusive billing practices. Despite multiple attempts to address these issues with the management, my concerns were ignored and shunned.
I believe it's essential for potential patients to be aware of these issues before choosing this office, as the lack of transparency and accountability in their billing practices can be concerning and have a negative impact on the overall patient experience.

I live out of state and I called this office for information about my retina surgery in 2018 with general anesthesia. The surgery was fine.but the healing with my situation went bad severe head pain 14 days and tinnitus. So I read their site they can consult with people that had any head complications and I did. Ms Lauren went beyond her position to try to help me, she had empathy and compassion and that tells me her office cares about their patients and i wasnt a patient..Very difficult
to find someone that goes beyond their scope to help people since this has been a long journey for me.

When I was diagnosed with BRVO in my right eye, it was pretty scary but, I found I was in competent hands and there was treatment available in town. What a relief that was.
After a thorough examination and four injections I have my clear sight back and my prognosis looks promising. Dr. Patel and his staff have been so professional and the treatment was not uncomfortable at all.
I would not hesitate referring the Retinal Center in Grass Valley and their staff.

I have to give 5 Stars to Dr. Tealander who is just great! He is efficient, caring, thoughtful and answers all my questions. I have seen him 3 times so far in 2 yrs. and will one more time. When my eye went into sudden Tunnel vision then turned sideways inside my eyeball I called as emergency and had no insurance, they recommended Dr. Tealander who is only there every 2 weeks, but I just happened to call that day, he saw me right away, let me set up a payment plan and received the best help. Now I have insurance and feel so grateful for his care in an emergency. Thank you for your services in Grass Valley!
