I had such a great experience at Imperial Beach Optometry! Dr. Hanono was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind, and the entire staff was just as amazing friendly, professional, and very organized. The office runs like a well-oiled machine. They have an impressive selection of glasses and lenses, and everything is set up to make the process smooth and efficient. I came in with an emergency while traveling and needed something same day. They took me in immediately, helped me on the spot, and even provided lens solution. Their level of care and efficiency truly blew me away. I'm so grateful for their help and highly recommend Imperial Beach Optometry to anyone looking for top-notch service, a great selection, and a team that truly cares.

This review is long overdue. I've been a patient of Dr. A. Hanono for years now, after the referral from my mom. He is always dressed to impress, has a full staff of friendly faces ready to greet you as you walk in, and together they always provide the best service. Whether it's a phone call, text, or email, his office responds in a timely manner no matter what. I was even able to get a last minute (what I thought was an emergency) appointment the same day I texted about it. Thank you so much! His office is also full of thoughtful touches to make you feel comfortable and cared for: from the multiple purse hooks in the eye test area, to the choices of contact solution at the table (when taking contacts off before an exam), to the way the staff cleans and adjusts your glasses (without you having to ask) when they check them, to the huge stock of frames available, the fun little vending machines, and providing all the information for rebates on your orders. I also like the friendly signs encouraging you to take pictures of your eyes. I think they look so cool! Dr. Hanono always takes the time to answer every question and make sure you leave confident in your care. He recently recommended me to a top Lasik/ICL doctor, and I trust his guidance completely. I'm excited to return with my new vision and to continue with his care.

I've been getting my prescription glasses here for years. I relocated to North Park and was working with the optometrists that my insurance listed in my area. Not able to find a great selection after going to many places, and remembered Imperial Beach Optometry! Light bulb! So happy to hear they were in network for my insurance so i drove down to find the perfect pair. Within minutes i found the exact style i was looking for at a reasonable price! I appreciated the woman in the front who helped me. She explained everything about my lenses in detail and knew exactly what she was talking about. I don't mind driving down here because their selection includes name brands and all kinds of styles for men, women, and kids. I would recommend to all friends and family!

Yesterday I was referred to Imperial Beach Optometry. I have been to many optometry offices in my life, but this place was the absolute best! The staff was fun to talk to, funny and very friendly! The doctor made me feel like he would bend over backwards for me! I needed glasses made same day, because I had a qualifying exam for my job today. They did it in 3 hours and today I passed my exam! Thank you so much to this team, this will be my new forever optometry office!

All the people that work here are very kind and friendly. Spent over an hour looking for the right glasses and never felt rushed or ignored. Got my kid glasses and the staff members were very patient and even remembered me when I came back in for my own.

Incredible service! Super friendly and very helpful. I had a screw from my sunglasses fall out while on a business trip in the San Diego area. Popped in quickly to see if they could help as I was near by. Was greeted by a smiling team asking how they could help. I explained what happened and They promptly took my sunglasses, popped a new screw in, cleaned them up and sent me on my way. When I asked how much they told me not to worry about it. A complimentary service they offer. I was floored. The saved my glasses and saved my eyes from squinting through the rest of my trip. I can't thank them enough. If I lived here and wore glasses I would go there for sure. Hard to find service like that theses days. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Thanks imperial beach optometry!

The staff here is well trained. They have a knack in hiring polite, helpful people. The doctors are kind and thorough. Picked up sunglasses this visit to match my progressive regular glasses. No more glare while driving. Well worth it!

Hands down one of the best experience when coming to my eye doctor. Not only does he know how to rock a killer suit but he has an amazing staff. Even though the facility is very busy he always find time to give me his personal time just talk behind eye but also family and career. He's very professional and precise when it comes to being superb eye doctor. Bought my Tom Ford as well as my contacts. I always look forward to coming here, I'm very sorry to the staff I've missed numerous appointment and thankful for always being so kind. Love you all very much
