Dr Peace is an amazing Doctor. All the staff is polite and friendly, however they are pretty busy with the amount of patients the clinic has. Be prepared to stay anywhere from three to four hours even if you have an appointment. If you give them a call and they will pick up but be most likely they will put you on hold for about an hour so be prepared.

I waited 2.5 hours to spend no more than 5 minutes with Dr. James Peace, Ophthalmologist. Upon my departure, I experienced swelling & conjunctivitis of the left eye (persisting for 7+ days). Do NOT let your guard down, insist that techs wipe down and thoroughly sanitize stations between patients. I was told an EST 100+ patients visit the office daily with only one ophthalmologist on-site . Make sure eye techs do not sneak food and eat in front of you then put bare hands in a receptacle of cotton balls. Rubbing alcohol & handful of cotton ballsl is not sufficient for cleaning protocol. Heavy traffic areas include communal eye drop bottles, pens & light switches. Ask for single use drops without preservatives. I should have gone with my instincts and departed after the first 1/2 of waiting for my appointment...

Dr. Peace is an Amazing Doctor and Very Knowledgeable therefore Worth the Wait. He has a phenomenal staff always very attentive, knowledgeable and over just great people specially Mike, Brianna and Sigh.

My father has been a patient of Dr. Peace for over 15 years. In spite of the terrible service, I can not get him to change. This place has the most unprofessional and rude personnel I have ever experienced, especially in a healthcare facility. Appointments mean nothing as the average wait is 2 hours after that time. After talking with several people in the lobby it appears they book several people for the same appointment slot. In addition, the parking lot is extremely small and there is no street parking.

I have been taking my mom here since she was referred by her doctor last year. This year, she finally had her cataract removal surgery. First the right eye which was her worst and then her left eye. Dr. Peace has been an amazing person with blessed hands as my mom has put it for giving her sight back. He is an amazing fixture to this community. His staff also have this positive outlook for everyone coming in. Their hard work in treating people in the community with diabetes, making sure to keep their eye sight healthy while working with their doctors and giving older patients the ability to see after years of cataracts shows how happy patients like my mother are. I am thankful to everyone and Dr. Peace for taking care of my mother. After being on this earth for 79 years, she feels like a kid again and she can finally see my face again.

He was absolutely success! I had no complications at all. He did a wonderful job wonderful job! I glad i stuck with this clinic rather than long beach where they tried to send me.

I received authorization to see this doctor. Despite calling at various times throughout the day, I was never able to schedule an appointment. I was given various excuses for why I couldn't see him, or they wouldn't answer the phone. Frustrated, I contacted my provider to request a different doctor. I even explained my difficulties scheduling an appointment to my primary care provider. Finally, today, I reached my limit and formally requested a new doctor. I informed the appointment coordinator of my frustration and their refusal to schedule an appointment, but they seemed indifferent. While they did send me a text message inviting me to schedule an appointment, this was futile as they had previously provided excuses about incorrect call times or being on a break.
