The doctor had long cat nails which seems a little odd for a pediatric eye doctor, so her sharp fake nails were centimeters away from my 1 year old's eyeballs. It definitely didn't feel super safe to me. I know it's hard to keep a one year-old not scared during appointments, but their suggestion was to watch a show on YouTube during the appointment. I would've liked if they had been a little bit more prepared on their own end to keep a one year-old distracted during the exam like a pediatrician would do.

We love Dr. Fazilat! My son got glasses at 6 months old for strabismus and she has taken such good care of us. She performed surgery on him at a year old and it went very well and his eyes are looking better than ever at 18 months old. She's so kind and speaks to my son so well. I was really impressed with the wait time, quality of care and bedside manner. My son hates the eye drops and is neurodivergent and so I usually have a hard time with him. Luckily we didn't wait long, Dr was amazing with redirecting and he was able to get an evaluation. But compared to the other office I used to take him to (which always overbooked) the wait time went by quickly. Front office staff was friendly and professional. FYI for others, Office only takes healthcare insurance no VSP. I knew this before coming but want to ensure others are aware. I look forward to our next visit!
