I had a wonderful experience at Lucent Clinic. The staff was professional, kind, and attentive from start to finish. The provider took his time to listen to my concerns and explained everything clearly. The clinic was clean and well-organized. I truly felt cared for and would highly recommend Lucent Clinic to anyone seeking quality healthcare.

Dr. Pathak is a wonderful opthalmologist. One of the reasons I chose this office to do my son's Lasik surgery is because, based on the reviews I read, I knew that Dr. Pathak would tell us the truth about whether or not he was a good candidate. This is not a surgery mill. Dr. Pathak takes the time to thoroughly test, examine, and talk through all corrective options available. Further, Cyndi is a wonderful complement to Dr. Pathak! She is kind and communicative. Even after my son's procedure, they made themselves available through text to answer any and all questions that this nervous mom had. I do not hesitate recommending Lucent Vision to anyone who is looking for an honest, compassionate, thorough, and professional doctor.

I had worked with both Dr Pathak and Cynthia years ago. Even though I now live out of the area, I knew I would get the best treatment advise from him! His explanations made me very confident in my plan for cataract surgery options. And the bonus was a chance to visit with both of them!

This review is long overdue. I got the procedure in 2022. I meant to write a review and life got away from me, but today I went to the optometrist for the first time since having the procedure (I know, don't judge me!). The optometrist said my vision is still 20/20 (yay!), and whoever did my LASIK did a fantastic job! She said my eyes look perfect and she was very impressed! I regret not writing the review in 2022, but it's also nice to have some time in between the procedure and the review to really judge the results. It's even nicer to have a third-party confirm the quality! It turns out, the results were as good as I expected. The reason I wanted to write the review initially is that Dr. Pathak has the best bedside manner of any health professional I've ever encountered. He's a great communicator. He explains the procedures, answers and anticipate questions, and he didn't seem to be going through the motions. People are busy and tired, especially health professionals, so it can be understandable when they fall short of this standard, but Dr. Pathak never did. He's obviously brilliant, but I never felt condescended to. Even before knowing my LASIK is perfect 3+ years later, I recommended him to people in my life. Obviously, now I feel even better about the recommendation!

I would highly recommend giving your cataract surgery. Do not put it off because it will change your life. I got one eye done in January and the other eye done yesterday and my vision is already 2020 for distance in one day. Just get better each day so I'm super happy the office staff is amazing very personable very professional but they make you feel like you're part of the family. I would highly recommend loosen vision.

I had heard about Lucent before, and when I finally decided to go for a LASIK consultation, Lucent was the first place that came to mind. Dr. Pathak is an absolute life-changer - literally! I came to him with a heavy prescription, lazy-eye, severe astigmatism, and years of just accepting that I'd never see 20/20. Because of my high prescription and normal to thin corneas, he recommended ICL surgery instead of LASIK - a recommendation that proved to be spot-on. Dr. Pathak patiently answered every single one of my questions, no matter how basic or repetitive. He carefully explained my situation and even emailed me detailed information about ICL lenses. Before the actual surgery, he saw me for at least 5 pre-op check-ups. He was incredibly thorough and genuinely cared about how I was feeling emotionally. Each visit, he'd ask if I had any other concerns, making sure I felt completely comfortable and informed. By surgery day, I felt totally at ease. The surgery was a complete success. Within 24 hours, I had already recovered about 90% of my vision, and after just one week, I hit 20/20! We were both amazed by the results - honestly, I never thought this would be possible for me. Dr. Pathak truly changed my life. Thanks to him, I'm finally free from glasses and, more importantly, free from my one-year-old's daily attacks on my face! No more tiny hands grabbing at my frames every five minutes. If you're considering vision correction surgery, Dr. Pathak is the doctor you want. His expertise, patience, and genuine care make all the difference. I couldn't recommend him more highly!
