I have worn contacts and glasses since age 14, so have had a lot of experience with optometrists. Dr. Mukai is patient,thorough, and answers all my technical questions, unlike some optometrists in the past, who didn't seem to welcome a lot of questions. I don't feel rushed through the appointment. She has a wide selection of reasonably priced quality and designer frames. I have seen similar frames priced twice as much at other places. Being allergic to nickel, I appreciate that she has affordable, nickel-free titanium frames. She also is helpful in selecting appropriate lenses and frames. She is not bound to using one lab, so she will do her best to get the best lenses for a particular client's needs. She did my shy daughter's first eye exam, and she was patient, friendly, and made her feel comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Mukai.
