The receptionist staff here are unwelcoming.
They appear to be unhappy with there jobs.
If you come in here with an HMO your screwed.
They will have you wait and you will be discouraged as patients who arrived after you are attended first, regardless whether you have an appointment .
Be careful if you have come in with Medicare, they will try to charge you a copay of $50.00. But, if you have both medicare and medical the copay is waived.
Note: they wont ask if you have medical and insist that you pay. So be observant of this.
Not all is bad here, the back office staff including the doctors are very friendly and professional.
Cant say the same for the front office.

Dr. Shammas is an awesome surgeon. Not only does his name carry an enormous amount of weight among his colleagues and patients alike, but he is one of the kindest persons you will have ever met, and it's clear why he runs such a successful practice.

Be sure to bring a movie. You'll wait even with a reservation. By the way, the staff / reception shrug off your problems and really don't give a damn. 1st and last visit.
