Center For Sight

Was referred here by Zeiter eye. (Zeiter eye, You should know better) I've called numerous times. I get put on hold and then I'm asked to leave a message. No one calls back!! Whoever manages this place please get it together. This is bad for business. I am going to get referred somewhere else. 2/23/25 update: After I wrote this review, they called me and made an appointment for September. A day or so later , I guess they saw the review and they called me and canceled my appointment.!! No reason was given. I know it is because of this review. Better this way. Maybe the doctors will hire a better manager that will get the staff trained and up and running to better serve their patients. Or maybe the doctors are too cheap to hire enough staff to run the practice. Whatever the case may be, I hope they improve their service. Hopefully this review will wake them up. From the other reviews given, it looks like they have not learned their lesson.

The visits are OK when we see the provider but their office hours and phone systems are very disappointing. I've left a couple of messages. Today is the fourth day trying to get through to them. I also went in person on a Monday which their door states Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM and it was not a holiday so I don't understand why they were closed and I was there around 9:30 AM. I thought maybe the door was heavy or they had another entrance so I checked another door and both locked. Please put a note on your door or hire more people to answer the phones!!

If you can I'd avoid this place. It may be pretty on the inside and outside but customer service sucks. Waited a whole month for my son's glasses and actually had to physically drive to their office to see if they were even there because nobody ever answers the phone nor do they return calls when you leave a message and come come to find out they don't notify you if your prescription is in. This place is so unprofessional.

I called this place to make an appointment. I waited on the phone for 45 minutes they got my information and scheduled the appointment for 4 months later. A week before my appointment I called again and I was waiting on line for 1 hour and then they disconnected my call. I had to call several times. The day of my appointment I arrived 20 minutes early to do paperwork, I waited an hour to get inside, my eye exam was done by a medical assistant and the doctor only checked my eyes. I regret going to this place but that's the only place that was covered with my insurance.

****Another year has gone by and this place is STILL THE WORST PLACE IN THE VALLEY!! I will keep posting renewed reviews until this place gets shut down for their wrong doings! More people need to be speaking up and calling their insurance company and file a complaint against this location! At some point, they can't just ignore all the complaints and calls! The fact that it's still this horrible just goes to show just how much we actually matter. They only care about their paychecks. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS! IT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! *****A YEAR LATER AND STILL NOTHING HAS CHANGED WITH THIS PLACE, EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF AND THEY KEEP YOUR HEALTH INFORMATION FROM YOU. DO NOT LET THIS PLACE BULLY YOU!!! FILE COMPLAINTS AND NEVER TRUST THIS PLACE!!! CANT SAY YOU HAVENT BEEN HIGHLY WARNED***** This particular location should be shut down indefinitely! Or maybe the entire staff should just be fired. Either way, they shouldn't be allowed to be open for business. The receptionists flat out lie to patients AND insurance companies! They withhold information to force you to buy glasses through them unless you pay them extra money. When you try calling, they make you wait on hold for longer than the estimated wait time, but then pop up a prerecorded message saying they're assisting someone else and FORCE you to leave a message and then hang up without you being able to speak to anyone! Then they wait until it's almost closing time to even return your call! Center For Sight is the most unprofessional business I have ever had to deal with! My insurance company even spent hours trying to reach someone! All of what they're doing is to my young daughter! So that tells you right there, just the kind of business this place truly is! They do not care about giving PROPER care to everyone that comes to their location and think it's perfectly acceptable to withhold prescription information from their patients, TRICKING them into purchasing glasses through them instead of somewhere else. A complaint has already been started against this location. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!

I was nervous about our appointment today with our 2 year old because of the reviews but am glad we went. We had such a great experience. The front staff was polite, the back staff were so patient since my daughter was crying, and the doctor was great (he was amaze of how good my daughter did at such a young age). We loved it that I will be bringing my two older kids here.

Center for Sight is the absolute worst! On medi-cal and no where else to go and they treat us like garbage. Can't get apointments, or glasses, they have only one part time optitian for all patients, so you will have a extremely hard time getting glasses made. My exam was over eight months ago and still no glasses!!!!!! Doctors don't care about patients or things would be different. Don't even derserve the one star I gave them.

My 5 YO son is on the spectrum, so going to new places and new doctors is always nerve wrecking. However, everyone here was friendly and patient - bonus they have bilingual staff. They have TVs in the waiting area, so my son was entertained. My son had a meltdown during the eye exam, but again, the staff was patient and understanding. Dr. Roubach was super friendly and even spoke a bit of spanish. The Dr. took the time to explain everything, and answered our questions, we didn't feel rushed. When we were leaving, my kiddo and little brother got souvenir glasses and left happy.
