VisualEyes Optometry

We brought our 4 year old daughter to get checked out and right away they prescribed her a strong prescription. My Daughter stated it was blurry and didn't want to wear the glasses. I waited and went to another office and got her tested and the results were completely different. I'm glad i didn't make her wear these glasses, as they could have damaged her vision. When we went to get the lenses replaced with the new prescription they didn't want to correct their mistake and instead tried to say her vision must have gotten better since she wore the glasses (Which she never wore). I wouldn't recommend taking your family here, they just want your money.

Easy to schedule my annual check up appointment, appointment went smooth and straightforward. They were not pushy with selling lenses and glasses here.

10/25/2024 Optometrist recommended progressive lenses. Picked up glasses on 11/6/2024. During pickup tried on glasses and used as directed to try out upper and lower lease areas to use the progressive function of the lenses. I explained to employee that they were not working and when trying to use lower section of lense for reading that it was blurry. I was told "you have to get used to them". After trying as instructed same issue reoccured. I went in person and was told they could replace progressive lenses with single vision lenses. Great, however the additional 198.00 dollars that I spent for the progressive lenses would not be refunded. In what world is it ok to be charged for something you are not getting? The progressive lenses that the optometrist recommended did not work and they will not refund the additional money I spent for these lenses. Shame on them. Additionally, the front desk clerk "Valerie" has always been very snooty/uppity with her demeanor and communication style. My family and I will not be returning to this optometrist and I highly recommend not using this optometrist.

Horrible customer service and super expensive. When my sons glasses broke the receptionist kept telling me what she can't do. I wanna hear what you CAN do when in a crisis. I should not be the one solving the problem lol. Very disappointing

Glasses broke. Need to order new glasses. In order to do that, I can not have my info faxed, emailed, or verbally communicated. I need to physically drive to the office, get a piece of paper that has two numbers on it, drive back home, order glasses online. This makes, no sense. Unfortunately, I have to switch optometrists. Nice folx tho. Two stars for inconvenience and having to find a new spot. 3 stars for wonderful staff.

The original Optometrist who was at this site decided to relocate to Stockton. I didn't wanted to drive all the way to Stockton so I was looking for an Optometrist in Manteca. One day as I dropped off a package at the Manteca Post Office on Maple Street, I looked across the street and saw a giant blue eye. That really caught my attention so I walked across the street and peeked in the window of "Visual Eyes Optometry." Since I was already there I decided to drop in and asked if Dr. Hahn Nguyen was accepting any new patients and if she accepted my insurance (VSP). The Staff is super friendly and answered all the questions I had. In addition they did not "push" me to make an appointment but gave me a card and said to call if I would like to make an appointment. So I made an appointment right there and then. Next day I arrived to my appointment. First time meeting Dr. Nguyen. She is SUPER NICE and FRIENDLY! She made me feel very comfortable and took time to explain everything that was asked. She even took the time to explain what my insurance cover for exam and contact lenses which is something that Staff usually do! Overall my first office visit at Visual Eyes was AWESOME! The Staff is very warm and welcoming and Dr. Nguyen is stellar in her profession! I will definitely come back! I highly recommend giving Visual Eyes a try.

Called them to make an appointment to get my wife glasses. We have been there before for glasses and liked the experience, but this time although my wife already had a prescription for glasses they told me she could not go in for glasses unless she made an appointment to get an exam there because of covid. I told them that made no sence because she would have to go in regradless so what would covid have to do with it and all they said thats policy because of covid. It all about money i guess. I thought they would care about the patient. I guess not. I told them she already has a prescription why would she get another exam, but whatever at this point. Never had this problem before.

I love my eye doctor she is so engaging, and she cares about my eye healthcare. Very friendly staff, clean office. I could have gone anywhere for my eye care. I'm glad I chose VisualEyes Optometry. Thank You for caring about my eye care. Peace, and Blessings.
