Jason H. Nakagawa, OD

As someone who has had glasses for almost 30 years I have had many eye doctors. Dr. Nakagawa is the best eye doctor I have ever seen. He not only looks at the prescription but does a detailed eye exam looking at the health of the eyes. He makes sure to explain everything in a way that is easy to understand and takes his time. He goes out of his way in every respect, would highly recommend!

Dr Nakagawa's office saw me quickly for an alarming issue. He provided kind, attentive help -- going over my x-rays with clarity and reassurance. An excellent experience and top notch service.

I was having pretty intense swelling and redness in my left eye periodically for a few year. Dr Nakagawa was the only eye Dr I saw that was properly able to diagnose my condition as Pingvuecula. I'm on day 4 of antibiotic / steroid drops and feeling much better. I cannot recommend Dr. Nakagawa enough! Thank you

He responded immediately, looked at a photograph of my mom's eye, listened to her symptoms and told us what to do (and he was correct). A terrific, kind and caring doctor. Thank you!

Very thorough, intelligent, detail oriented physician. He saw my partner and I was very happy with his service. He did not rush us, he explained everything and answered our questions and concerns as we were very stressed about the eye problem. He gave useful advice to help the problem. We hope for the best from here. He has an Okinawa Spirit, shows compassion in his profession and has a sense of humor. I think he genuinely cares for patients. Highly recommend.

2024 It is now a year later from my previous review -- and I could not echo my previous 5 star review loud enough. Dr. Jason H. Nakagawa, OD -- and his magnificent staff -- are absolutely the best. They all go ABOVE and beyond what is expected -- for every appointment. I am so very glad to have found Dr Jason and his awesome staff!! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic eye doctor! 2023 Dr. Jason H. Nakagawa, OD is a magnificent specialist and eye doctor. When you go into his office you are greeted welcomely by the office staff and front desk: Esmeralda and Sally. They are tremendous. The tests are extremely thorough - and you really feel like you are getting extra special care. I have been so very happy ever since I have come to this office located on 4560 Admiralty Way Ste 354 in Marina Del Rey CA. I cannot recommend them enough. they are fantastic!
