Menifee Valley Optometry

This is my first time at this location. Even though I've been going to Inland Eye Specialists for years, I was going to the Murrieta location to see Dr. Larson. The staff (Liz, Vanessa and Eileen) in Menifee were all very welcoming and accommodating from the time I walked in the door until I walked out. Everyone was very kind. I also really like Dr. Fennema, as much as Dr. Larson so I will continue coming to this location. There was some confusion with regard to the cost of services, prior to and on the day of my appointment. I paid as a "Cash Patient " or "Self-Pay," and was NOT expecting to pay an additional $105 for my contact exam. However, the customer service overshadowed this discrepancy. Overall, I had an exceptional experience. Thank you! I appreciate all you do for your patients!

The staff is very nice and they are knowlegable and helpful. Dr. Fennema is great! He takes the time to explain things in a way I can understand. When I am picking out glasses the team is really takes time to underatand my needs and how I will use them so I can choose the right ones.

I wasn't even going to leave a review after my poor experience a few months ago. However, I just received my new glasses I ordered with my latest prescrption I received from here and it is not correct! To start, my last visit consisted of a ridiculous wait time which was met with attitude from the office staff who finally took me back when I kindly asked how much longer I was anticipated to wait. I arrived early and was still sitting there waiting almost 40 min past my scheduled appointment time. I get that scheduling conflicts happen but being ignored and not updated while acting like us patients have expendable time is not cool. I had someone watching my kids to be able to attend this appointment. I was told my contacts prescription remained the same as it has been the past few years (which my glasses had also been the same strength) to be told this time my glasses prescription should increase - which I questioned but obviously trusted the doctor. Well, ever since I began wearing the new prescription my eyes are strained, I get headaches, and feel like it's ruining my vision of my previous prescription with my contacts. My bad for being trusting I suppose but now I'm upset that I will need to return these glasses, which luckily is an option, but I will more than likely be out of my benefit money and have to fight the insurance on it and hope for the best. Super unhappy and won't be returning!

Dr. Fennema has a great personality, he was nice, funny, and professional! He took the time to show me my eye scan results. and explain his findings. Liliana was great too! She was super patient with me, and kind. Glad I made the right choice in picking a new optometrist!

Dr. Fennema is the best optometrist in Southern California; he takes great pride in his craft, positive energy while interacting with his patient. Menifee Valley Optometry is a great establishment, their staff are very professional and took wonderful care of me; while I went to my appointment this morning. I'm truly grateful and appreciative to such an outstanding optometry office in Menifee. I will definitely recommend them to all my families and friends.

Dr. Fennema and his staff are super friendly and always make you feel at home. Dr. Fennema always remembers you and your story even if you've been away long. It makes me feel like I'm well looked after and he really cares about knowing you and what you need for your life style.

He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I fully understood my options once he had gathered enough information to truly personalize my care. His thoroughness and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in my vision plan. On top of that, the office had an amazing selection of eyeglass frames, making it easy and fun to find the perfect pair. I can't say enough good things about this team.
