I had an amazing experience at Golden Vision Optometry in Milpitas. Sharon Leong was the one who helped me and she was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable.
They are way cheaper than any other optometry place I have been to in the Bay Area. My insurance only covered the eye exam and 150 dollars toward glasses, and they still made it work for me. I was able to add Michael Kors sunglasses for only 50 dollars extra, which was such a great deal.
No pressure, no upselling, just honest pricing and great service. I highly recommend Golden Vision Optometry to anyone looking for quality care at a reasonable price.

My glass from last year is already FULL of cracks on the coating, on both lenses, similar to how cracked tempered glass looks. These coatings should last much longer than this. These cracks are not easily visible unless I use reflection of lights to check, which is why I didn't find out earlier. I am not an expert and don't know what these cracks would do to my eyes when I wear them. I always handle my glasses with care, and never leave them in the car during hot summer. The two older pairs I bought from Zenni Optical (cheap online glass retailer) do not have even a single crack on the coating after years of use (similar care taking). The sales person (who sold me the glass) confirmed that the issue exists (by visual inspection), but politely insisted that nothing can be done. My family has been going to Golden Vision for years and years. And their pricing on the glasses is not cheap at all. The quality of the product is really poor and the quality control of Golden Vision is really poor to allow such products to be sold to customers. I already gave you a chance to make things right but was only turned away.

Our family had a great experience during our kids ortho K visit. We had done research at numerous locations however at the end we decided to select this location. Dr Ma and Yvonne were professional and attentive, and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. We ended up to referred friend to this location and will also expand the referral to our network as well. Keep up with the outstanding work!

I called to get my daughter's ok lens replaced as it got broken. I called twice and every time they said someone would call me back, but on the 3rd business day, still no one called me back. Then I called the 3rd time, the person picked up call again tried to say someone would call me back. When I insisted to have someone follow up, then I was put on hold forever, like 10 min. I hung up but this time they called me back right away. But still why I had to call multiple times.

first, make sure you have an appointment - they only let patients with appointments in. they are very responsible with their COVID-19 measures and precautions, they even give out extra masks to put over your own mask to make sure you have multiple layers of protection. any glasses that you touch are put in a separate box to be sanitized.
overall experience was wonderful! the staff was very friendly and helpful. not hovering for too long and giving us the privacy we need to try on styles, but helpful in showing us other styles that may not be on display and answering any questions that we had. the shop is very bright and clean, and they have amazing selection from ray ban to cartier and chanel. very pleased with my experience and would definitely recommend!

They hardly respect your appointment. They just keep informing you the doctor is unavailable one day before your appointment and ask you to reschedule it for weeks later again and again.
