DLP Eye Group

This place is absolutely horrible and overcrowded. I really don't see a point to having an appointment if you are called in an hour to an hour and a half later. I had an appointment at 1pm and literally was seen at 2:30pm and walked out at 2:55pm. Literally two hours after my appointment time. It's horrible. I need to find a new doctor for sure. Don't bother.

Our experience with DLP Eye Group was mixed. On the positive side, the technician who conducted my elderly father's exam was excellent, patient, professional, friendly, and thorough. She took her time and made my father feel comfortable, which I truly appreciated. The eye doctor was also helpful during the visit. That said, the overall process surrounding the glaucoma assessment was frustrating and disappointing. The sole reason for this appointment was a glaucoma evaluation. My father had already seen an optometrist and was referred specifically to DLP for glaucoma assessment. After waiting nearly a month just to secure the appointment, we were surprised to learn during the visit that additional testing was required because the location did not have the appropriate equipment to complete the glaucoma assessment. This raised a serious question-why wasn't the appointment scheduled at a location or on a day where the proper equipment was available in the first place? That would have saved time, effort, and unnecessary delays, especially for an elderly patient. After the exam, we were sent back to the lobby to schedule another appointment. While waiting, we observed other patients being called promptly to schedule their follow-up visits, while we continued to wait without explanation. When I finally approached the receptionist, after waiting patiently, I was told they needed to wait for my father's chart. This explanation didn't make sense, as I observed at least one individual schedule an appointment without a chart in hand. I work in customer service and pride myself on being patient and understanding. I know how easily frustrations can be misdirected at staff, and I made a point to remain respectful throughout. However, in this case, the lack of organization and communication was unacceptable. Systems and workflows need improvement. Ultimately, I decided to leave and scheduled my father's glaucoma appointment with the UCLA Eye Institute instead. I sincerely hope that experience will be more streamlined. DLP Eye Group has caring clinical staff, but better coordination and upfront scheduling would go a long way in improving the overall patient experience--especially for seniors.

I wish to give no stars they suck I was there for 4 hours and to get my paperwork the girls were just talking. Another 1 hour for nothing..going else where

Just got a letter this place closing I won't miss them they take a long time.my appointment at 130 I was seen at 3 and had to wait for my paperwork in till 330 forget them

Doctors and staff are great but new owers don't know what there doing from a 45 mon Doctors visit to over 2 hr wait to see one the cancel my surgery two days before cause there decision not to except my insurance anymore so now I have to start all over with new Doctors

The location of the facility was not ideal, and the parking situation was quite limited. It took me approximately 20 minutes to find an available parking space. Upon arrival, I was informed that I had missed my appointment by 18 minutes and that the doctor would not be able to see me. Additionally, reaching the facility by phone proved to be a challenging task. Regrettably, I will not be returning to this location in the future.

I took my Father for a consultation and Karla, all four young ladies at the front desk were helpful and professional in a addition Ms Julie SX coordinator explained my dad's procedure in detail and answered all of our questions. Ms Carla Manager resolved maintenance efficiently and promptly. Thank you for making this day a pleasant one.

They overbook patients which means overcrowding and not enough seating. Definitely never any parking and Dr. Lynn Huang has no patience for her patients and will be condescending. Do better.
