Bella Eye Care Optometry

I had a very disappointing experience at this shop. I purchased my frame here only, and recently went back because it wasn't fitting properly. The employee, Ashley, kept playing with it over and over but still couldn't adjust it correctly. Instead, she made it worse -- the nose pads were bent into a bad position, and when she finally handed it back to me, the piece broke as soon as I touched it. What shocked me even more was Ashley's attitude -- she was rude, dismissive, and instead of taking responsibility, she told me to go all the way to Hayward to get it repaired. That is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. This shop clearly does not value its customers or stand behind its products. I will not be coming back and would not recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else where they actually care about their customers and take responsibility for their mistakes. This is reply to your Answer, I need to clarify a few things. Yes, the glasses are two years old, but that doesn't excuse what happened. My request was very reasonable .I only asked for the frame to be adjusted so it fit better on my face. Ashley kept adjusting it multiple times but was unable to get it right. What made this worse was her attitude, she was rude and dismissive, and after breaking my frame, she simply told me to go all the way to Hayward to fix it. That is not acceptable customer service. This isn't about expecting "tabletop symmetry," it's about careless handling and the lack of accountability. I stand by my review, customers deserve better treatment and responsibility from a shop where they spent their money.

Have been with Bella Eye Care for more than 10 years. They have great customer service from start to finish. The optometrist explained the exams clearly and made everything easy to understand. The staff is knowledgeable, and they gave great selection of glasses. HIghly recommend to give them a visit.

Everyone at Bella Eye Care is super helpful and welcoming. It is always easy to get my appointments scheduled and my contacts and glasses are always ready in a timely manner. They even give reminders for my yearly exam. I've had the opportunity to have my eyes checked by both Dr. Judy and Dr. Maranda and they were both were helpful in making sure I had the best contacts experience. Unlike other eye doctors' offices, I didn't feel pressured to use a certain brand or get a certain pair of glasses. I love coming here and will continue to go here and recommend family and friends.

This review is long overdue. It's rare to find optometrists and opticians you can truly trust and Bella Eye Care Optometry has consistently exceeded my expectations. I have been a loyal patient for many years and even when I'm not local (lived in SoCal for many years), I make the trip because I know I'll receive world class service. A special shoutout to Ashley. She's been an incredible support throughout my visits whether it's scheduling appointments, conducting pre-exam screenings or helping me choose eyewear. She brings a warm, professional and knowledgeable presence every time. Ashley's technical expertise is impressive. She clearly explains lens technologies, materials, coatings, and frame styles. What stands out most is her ability to listen, actively and tailor recommendations to my needs. Her attention to detail, problem-solving, skills, and genuine care make all the difference. It's rare to find a team that blends professionalism with such authentic kindness. The entire staff of Bella Eye Care Optometry embodies this balance and I'm grateful for their continued excellence! I've had a couple optometrists in my life and I have to say I had a really fun time here. I don't think people normally talk about having to go to a medical appointment as fun.. but we should more often. The staff was super knowledgeable, kind and funny. I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything extra or do any extra examinations. My appointment time started a little late but you can clearly see the staff was working really hard. Let's choose to be understanding if you're also making an appointment at the very end of the year before your insurance resets (like me). PS. You may have to get your eyes dilated.. so make sure to bring a designated driver or be prepared to walk around Sprouts shopping center for about 3 hours.

I've been going to Bella Eye Care Optometry for a few years, and I just had my annual check-up. As always, Dr. Judy Nguyen is very attentive. She's very knowledgeable regarding my health history and the effects to my vision health. Her staff attended to me promptly and efficiently. Dr. Nguyen and Jocelyn were aware of my light sensitivity, and therefore helped me select the best pair of sunglasses, especially for driving. I cannot recommend Bella Eye Care Optometry enough, they care for their patients and it clearly shows!

Oh my goodness, if all my experiences to an Optometrist was this great, I wouldn't have skipped my annual Eye Exams the last 3 years! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendliness and kindness. And everything is so modern and efficient for prior to the visit - on-line "new patient" forms, and ability to preview eye glass choices - to reduce the time in choosing glass frames. And I went through several machines for eye tests and they were all so very thorough. And then I saw Dr. Nguyen and she explained their findings, her recommendations and even discussed the intricacies of insurance coverage, which is sometimes confusing for me. And when it came to choosing eyeglass frames, the Manager (I forgot her name) was so helpful and knowledgeable in understanding frame shapes to complement one's face. The whole experience was excellent - and I felt their level of customer service experience was beyond what I have ever experienced and their advanced technical tools - from eye exam equipment to AI measurment of eye movement for progressive lens to accuracy of eye glass fit, was impressive. Thank you Bella Eye Optometry and I wished I had seen you years ago!!!!

I just had my annual check up at Bella Eye Care Optometry, and of course I had a great visit! I've got severe myopia, and now I'm also having trouble reading up close. Dr. Judy Nguyen has worked so hard to give me the best option for my hard contact lenses. She was very patient with me and went through several options to figure out the best prescription. Her staff is very welcoming and helpful. The tech doing the pre-tests was friendly and knowledgeable. And Jocelyn, my optician, was kind and supportive and helped me find the best frame. With my severe myopia, it's sometimes difficult for me to find a good frame that will support my thick lenses and that will stay put on my nose. Jocelyn went through many frames to find me the best one! I've had many optometrists over the years, and I will always recommend Dr. Judy Nguyen and her staff. I know I'm well taken care of when I go to Bella Eye Care Optometry.
