Polan D Gary OD

This is a miracle-working Optometrist. On day one of my Vision Therapy, I was able to see using both eyes at the same time. Never in my life have I been able to see out of both eyes at the same time. Dr. Polan and Dr. Yen are extremely advanced in terms of treatments and exercises. My eyes are being strengthened with every session and I could not be happier. The use of computers and virtual reality make therapy fun, relaxing, and most importantly effective!!!! Trish at the front desk is super helpful and kind. The therapy sessions are pricey but it's 1000% worth the money. I will be back to continue my therapy very soon. Thank you to everyone in this office. You are making the world a brighter place, literally.

Dr. Polan is the best eye doc I've ever had. Been to plenty who've not gotten my ever changing rx correct. Doc Polan nails it every time. So grateful to have found him. He was actually recommended by another eye doctor who couldn't get my vision up to snuff. And a nice guy, too.

I had been going to an optometrist 2 blocks from my house for twenty years. I asked him if there was any way to strengthen my eyes for better vision. He told me I just needed better lenses (glasses). Then I met Jonathon Bailin, a tennis pro, who told me that his tennis players all went to Gary Polan and that he offered super-advanced vision therapy. I rushed over and have been going to vision therapy twice a week for about 2 months. Just recently I realized I could see better without my glasses when driving than with them! I KNOW my vision is better, and I intend to keep going until I regain as much of my perfect vision from my youth as possible.

Dr. Polan is an excellent Eye doctor. I have had to have corrective lenses since I was a little girl until I got the laser surgery and I know the difference between a great eye doctor and a so-so eye doctor. He also works with kids who have reading disabilities and apparently can work wonders. My husband and son are also patients.

is he the best or what!!! you bet he is... patient, caring, empathetic and knows what he is talking about.. all the time.. without alarming his patients. that's honesty that doesn't exist in alot of offices. it's nice to know that there are doctors who still enjoy what they do and are not looking at time clocks during the exam. also... you couldn't ask for a better staff... what a nice way to walk into an office seeing smiles on faces and leaving with smiles on their faces.(because they're happy to see you leave)... kidding aside... great place TO HAVE TO GO!!
