Absolutely fantastic place to shop for eye wear, Redlands is lucky to have this local business. The owner went above and beyond to get us our ideal glasses and worked with our insurances to help us afford them. Also highly recommended for glasses adjustments - if it's been a while since you've gotten your glasses properly fit, it's probably time to have Mountain Optical fix them up!

Mountain Optical Eyeworks is a hidden gem. The address is State, but the entrance isn't street-facing so you get to it from the alley. Don't let that short walk deter you. This place is the best. They have a mix of vintage and new frames (some with cutting edge tech) and I always find something that I'd never have found elsewhere. They offer a personal touch that's not too common - giving careful thought to the type of frames that complement your face, fitting frames exactly right, making adjustments whenever you need. They're able to accept insurance and FSA/HRA/HSA cards too.

Had the most amazing experience at Mountain optical eye Works. After fighting with Gucci for the last three days trying to get a screw replaced in my sunglasses, I contacted Augie Perez at Mountain optical eye Works. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! The screw was replaced and all others tightened. Adjusted my sunglasses, cleaned them as well all for a great price. The shop carries the most amazing selection of glasses and I'm so happy that I found this place. I will never go anywhere else.

They treat you well here, know their stuff, and work with (at least) VSP insurance. Their stock of both prescription and non-prescription glass are carefully curated, and now contain both vintage and Bluetooth-enabled glasses.
