Bella Vista Eye Clinic

My experience with Bella Vista Eye Clinic was okay , but also somewhat disappointing. The doctor , Dr Vu, was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable , but when it came time for me to get my eyeglasses prescription she Wrote the incorrect prescription for me. I am completely blind in one eye , and my prescription should have shown a balanced lens in my Blind Eye , but instead , Dr Vu wrote in an actual correction number. Just made it so when I went to get new lenses at Costco, instead of only charging me for one lens , they were going to charge me for both lenses because Dr Vu wrote a prescription on both lenses. I went back to the eye clinic to have them correct my prescription , and received pushback from the technician who said the I clinic should just know that my Blind Eye should be a balanced lens. I had to insist that they redo my prescription and actually make a notation that the lens was balanced , before they finally acquiesced. This is a very basic process , and all of my life I have never had a problem with my prescription before going to Bella Vista Eye Clinic

despite all the bad reviews, this eyeglass place was able to take me the quickest and accepted my insurance. staff was nice, i've been in and out both times i went in, and my glasses were ready within the time frame they gave me. (4-8weeks) overall, good experience for me. :)

The eye doctor was really unprofessional with my son who is autistic. He literally stopped in the middle of the exam and said what is wrong with him? In the most disrespectful tone every. I would not recommend this place. They open and close when they want to the customer service is horrible as well. I will never bring my son back here I was very offended. This place is not a place for children.

Everyone at this place was very nice , respectful and courteous. The only problem I had was finding parking and that my glasses would take over a month to have my prescription refilled

The receptionist should be fired asap. Her attitude is so wrong and she is condescending and rude. First of all she ignored my presence at the desk for more than 5 minutes and kept talking to herself and doing her stuff without even acknowledging that I am there waiting for her response. I was little late for my appointment because I couldn't find parking in the area. Parking is a hassle and they just canceled my appointment and was so rude about it. I am never going to this place again. I went to another optometrist which is right next to this one and they took me for eye exam even without an appointment. Worst receptionist ever!!! All the reviews about her are true, believe me!

It was a very good experience everyone was very professional and I got everything I needed taken care of.

I do not want to leave a review and will give it 0 stars. The staff is incredibly rude at the front desk. I took my daughter here only because UCSF was scheduled really far out and she was having blurry vision. I brought her to this place in January and yet have we received her glasses, when I called they placed me on hold for a long time then hung up on me without saying 'hello'. I instantly called back and let the woman know that someone hung up on me and its been over two months since they last told me they will call me. I gave them a call in February the woman stated she will call me but never did. I called them the 2nd to last week of March waited on hold for a long time for them to hang up on me again, I called back and asked to be transferred again, when the woman picked I let her know I'm following up from the last time we spoke and she said my daughters glasses will be there in two weeks then she will call and wanting to confirm if they've arrived. She then stated Yes, they are here rudely and I asked were they never going to call me to notify me that they've arrived. She instantly lied and said they called me on the 15th of March following a bigger lie stating ' your phone was disconnected'. My phone bill isn't due until the 25th. DO NOT COME HERE!
