I have been going to Dr. Kurtbay for a very long time but haven't left a review before. I am a contact lens user mostly but will get prescription glasses every 2 years as covered by my insurance. I still have kept most of the glasses with its original case. I probably should donate them but I spent a lot of time picking out my frame with them. love their wide range of selection and they are attentive and very patience with you. I have tried on so many of them because you want ones that look best on you. I never feel rushed and appreciate their suggestion and opinion when it comes to what looks best for my facial features. there is wide range of price point for the frame. there is alot of frames for Asian nose too (you know what I mean if you're Asian). All their equipment is well maintained and have the latest up-to-date equipment. Clean and organized store. Dr. Kurtbay himself is such a pleasant mild manner man and well knowledge. He takes his time explaining your eye condition and the findings from the exam. We always end up having pleasant talk. We have been talking about how his son is becoming an optometrist like him for years now and I finally had the chance to meet his son today. He is also a pleasant mild manner gentleman, just like his dad. the business is in good hands when Dr. Kurtbay decides to retire some day. with any place you patron, you want to feel a connection or personable interaction, this is why I go to Dr. Kurtbay. Area is a little busy. Parking is residential, metered or parking lot. there is plenty of parking one block away inside Golden Gate Park.

My only regret about coming here is that I hadn't been before today. Dr. Timur Kurtbay was friendly, professional and very helpful. I can't wait to wear my new glasses when they are ready.
