From scheduling to check-in, everything runs smoothly. Pro tip: If you're using your vision insurance at Costco (such as I was), you're missing out. Eyes on Gough offers a far more personalized and professional experience. Your benefits go much further here, and the quality of care is on a completely different level.

I've been a patient for over 2 years now. Dr. Jung has always struck me as very competent and professional, with a more straightforward and easy-to-understand manner than some other optometrists I've had before. The staff at Eyes on Gough are superb too; visits are run efficiently, questions are answered promptly via text message, and it's easy to handle billing. Great overall care!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Jung and her amazing team! My son and I both needed eye exams, and from the moment we walked in, we were treated with such kindness and professionalism. Dr. Jung took her time with each of us, making sure we were comfortable and fully understood our eye health needs. She's incredibly knowledgeable and patient, especially with my son, which put him at ease right away. The team helped us find the perfect glasses we each got a pair we absolutely love! They took the time to make sure everything fit perfectly and even made the whole process fun. I couldn't be happier with the care we received and will definitely be returning for all our future eye care needs. What a great optometrist. So glad I found this place. Thanks to you. The staff was really courteous kind of professional. Dr. Jung was very knowledgeable patient thorough and professional. Karla, the hardware specialist was great as well so was he iTech helping me get my testing done. And Jonathan n was very friendly. This place is small, but it has everything you need and they did every single test that I could imagine. Gave me wonderful recommendations and, had a white selection of glasses with reasonable prices with coverage by different healthcare providers. I'll definitely make them my new optometrist

I received very poor quality service at Eyes On Gough. It took several appointments to get my prescription renewed, and the office charged me ~$120 for a prescription that they failed to fulfill. I have been wearing contact lenses for 18 years and have seen 5 different optometrists and have never experienced such lack of transparency and lack of respect for patients than I did at Eyes on Gough. The doctor who works here is condescending and rude. There are plenty of competitors in SF and I encourage any prospective patients to go elsewhere.

I have to renew my glasses and contact prescriptions and I liked the experience. Dr. Jennifer was very patient and diligent conducting many tests to make sure that I had the right prescription. The staff was also very friendly. Also, it is awesome that I can schedule appointments online without calling.

I've been to my fair share of optometrists. This practice is clean, has fantastic service, and a nicely curated wall of frames. Nice small business feel with personalized service. Carla and the person who answered the phone was very helpful. Beautiful and clean decor to boot! Not sure why the discouraging remark below. There looks to be a diverse group of employees.

I've been following this team since they were on Van Ness! Best optometry practice because Dr Jung really cares about her patients and is super knowledgeable & kind. The staff is sweet & helpful. I really love the selection of glasses and sunglasses they carry. I got a pair of TC Chartons which are stylish frames made for people with low bridges and don't have the plastic aviator-style nose pieces.
