I've been taking my elderly mother with advanced Glaucoma to see Dr. So for almost 20 years. As a caretaker to both my mother and father (before passing away 3 years ago) I've had many interactions with many different areas of medical care staff, including physicians and surgeons and I have to say he is absolutely one of the best, if not the best physician I've ever seen, especially in an area of importance such as vision. I'm in my 50's now and I knew vision was important but I truly feel the importance as I grow into my late 50's. His interactions every time with my mother involves genuine care to get the details of her problem methodically and with genuine compassion along with decades of medical wisdom to apply solutions that, if at all possible, avoid the drastic path while offering new techniques and procedures that are less straining on the patient. Also, he has gone out of his way many times to offer solutions that are most feasible with my mother's fixed income situation. Hence for Dr. So's compassion, professionalism and dedication throughout all these years, rain or shine, he has my mother's and my lifetime gratitude!

My family is truly thankful to Dr.So for his his exceptional skill and professionalism in performing glaucoma surgery (2 times!!!) on my mom. He first operated her about 13 years ago, on both eyes, and gave her a gift of good vision and good life for over a decade.
