Golden Gate Eye Associates

After making my co payments and insurance payments they came up with a different bill. I visited 2 times in person just to make sure the billing part is completed then called and spoke 3 times with multiple people they confirmed that I owe nothing. After a year they are still harassing me about this ghost bill, I spoke to their attorney asked that bill to be send but even the attorney's phone not exist anymore. I have not received any bills yet. DO NOT ever go there.

If no stars were an option I'd definitely pick that. Inconceivable incompetence. Paid a bill months ago. They continued sending invoices anyway. They had zero interest in helping me fix their mistake. Would not return voicemails. Would not return calls or emails from their third party billing company. They appeared to enjoy making me feel like I was responsible for their incompetence. Not sure what has happened to this place. But dysfunctional would be an understatement. Absolutely avoid at all costs!

Dr. Kevin Lee is young YET extremely bright and knowledgeable. He was spot on on the eye disease I contacted. Well, I went to see my regular doctor for eye infection. She then sent me to see an ophthalmologist. Ended up she was an optometrist connected to an ophthalmologist's office. The lady sent me off with some prescription and told me to come back Friday the same week to see the ophthalmologist. The pharmacy closed before I could make it there. So, I missed one day. I picked up the next day. The next day, July 4th, I woke up with my eye so swollen -- it was half the size. I was afraid to continue using the drug. I called the emergency #, her name was not found. And listed was the ophthalmologist's name. And he did not return my call. Thank goodness that the phone operator managed to find me another doctor, Dr. Kevin Lee of Golden Gate Eye Asso. I sent over a picture of mine. He diagnosed that I also had eyelid cellulitis, and sent a prescription to the pharmacy. But of course, it was 7/4, no pharmacy was opened. I walked into his office the next morning in my pitiful state with tissue taped over my eye, to soak up the tears and to block off the light. Right away, he confirmed what my husband has said "You got pink eye. Very infectious." Actually, he said I got double whammy. When the health of my eye got weakened, it also got attacked by virus. I got an eye rise in his office. He prescribed a stronger medicine, for Both eyes -- for by now, even the 2nd eye was mildly infected. A week later, I was healed. Well, not a fun experience. I was thankful to get my vision back. Then, I found that he also treat glaucoma. And he has much more availability. (My 2 former doctors were so busy -- "there weren't enough glaucoma specialists to go around." It is hard to get appointments and the wait time is long past the appointment time.) So, I am happy that I finally found who who is very knowledgeable and is available.

Waited over 30 minutes to actually be seen in a room with a nurse. Left said room and then waited in the office for another 30 Minutes to be seen by the actually doctor. They do not do a good job of respecting people's time. Seems like maybe they're trying to juggle too many patients at one time.
