I've been 'seeing' (haha) Dr. G since 2001 and I can't imagine having another optometrist. Dr. G is incredibly meticulous, knowledgeable, and funny. I've stayed with him through house and job moves that have taken me farther from SF because I have tremendous trust in his skill and integrity. He's almost pathologically thorough! Also, once I started letting him choose/suggest my frames, I started getting compliments on them from strangers in the street. Dr. G is absolutely the best, you'll be lucky for him to take you on as a patient. Just plan on some extra time for the appointment. :)

I have been seeing Dr. Gooderman since I was 11.
I don't really remember seeing him then, but I went into his office as a 21 year old concerned about seeing a little weird.
He is awesome and funny. He taught me a lot about my eyes and it was all just really interesting. I'm a lot... and he was very patient with with me when I was choosing the frame for my glasses and really took his time. I was actually looking for his number right now to contact him to help me fix my frame and decided to leave a review.
I 10000000% recommend him! Amazing amazing!

I've been seeing Dr. Gooderman for three years, and couldn't be more happy with the treatment I've gotten. The most thorough eye exam ever, lots of explanations, and such a charming man. Schedule a few weeks in advance, but you won't be sorry.
