Dr. Lam has been my eye doctor for over 25 years, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. She is always incredibly thorough and takes the time to listen. She pays close attention to my family history of eye issues and uses that information to guide the exam and her recommendations. Her exams are very detailed, and she explains what she is checking and why it matters. I never feel rushed during appointments, and she always makes sure my questions are answered. What I appreciate most is how attentive she is to long term eye health. She carefully reviews my history and monitors changes over time, which gives me a lot of confidence in the care I receive. After more than two decades of visits, I trust her completely with my eye care. If you are looking for an eye doctor who is knowledgeable, thorough, and attentive, Dr. Lam is excellent.

Came in on a Saturday with a minor eye injury. Dr. Lam went out of her way to accommodate me, gave me a thorough eye exam, and made sure everything was okay. Highly recommend.

Dr. Lam was great! She's so thorough and detailed with her exam and such a nice pleasant optometrist as well. It was fun to do the eye tests actually. She also really helped me find better-fitting less dry daily contacts, which was very helpful!

I like Dr. Lam. She's super nice and was very thorough during my eye exam. She was also very patient. I'm one of those that can't decide between 1 and 2, or 3 and 4.... Because I was so uneasy, she felt to do it again. I really appreciated that because I was more confident in my decision the second time around. Some of her equipment looks a little outdated, at least compared to other practices. But I feel if it's not broke, then don't fix it. The equipment gets the job done. Her office is messy.. There are mounds of paperwork everywhere. But the important thing is that though it's messy, it's not dirty. And she's honest!! I'd rather have a disorganized, honest optometrist who is concerned about my eye health than a neat-freak one who cares about my insurance. I also like her selection of glasses. From budget friendly to high-end brands, you'll probably find something that'll fit.

I've been coming to Dr. Lam for about a year now. Somewhat hidden in the bustle of Fillmore, she is easily the best and most thorough optometrists I have yet been to. I would encourage folks in the area to drop in and say hello. Dr. Lam. I will continue to visit her for my routine optometric visits and for contact lens refills.
