Dr. Miri is top shelf!! A gem. Frustrated with the last several years of retiring doctors, poorly run offices, and at a loss for why my prescriptions have not been able to provide me with 20-20 vision, I thought it time to return to an ophthalmologist to see if my eye health is alright. First of all, a lovely scheduler, Grace, answered the phone, took my information, and provided me with an appointment the following day! She was also very helpful in arranging the prompt release of release of medical records for the doctor's review. And the next day, when I met with Dr. Miri - the doctor had actually reviewed them carefully! (They covered several decades and major health issues.) We discussed the history and what my actual concerns are now. She has a calm, thoughtful manner and was very thorough. The best part was that she explained what she was looking for by each test/procedure and every question posed was answered in a way I completely understood. We covered glaucoma, cataracts, optic nerves, looked at MRI scans, TIAs, astigmatisms and I learned the purpose of those weird pinhole glasses. Dr. Miri is in private practice now, but don't hesitate to read her resume. Her waiting room is definitely sparse and Grace is not there, but the doctor is - and that's all that really matters for your health and peace of mind. Thank you, Dr. Miri. Five stars. p.s.
