I had a great experience here. When I walked in, Olga recognized the manufacturer of the frames I was wearing. I asked for a recommendation for something new, the first thing she handed me was outstanding, even though it was a different shape than what I thought I wanted. The second pick was great too. I tried a bunch more but nothing else came close to the first 2. Of course I have to shop and look at a lot of possibilities, I never make up my mind right away so I went to 4 other stores and didn't find anything I liked as much. So I went back and ordered from Olga. It wasn't inexpensive but well worth it, I am loving my new specs.

I highly recommend Spectacles for Humans. I read the good reviews and came in on a Friday, 30 min before closing. I wanted to pick out new glasses without having to shop around going from store to store. It all worked out great. I told Olga, the owner, I wanted some glasses that looked good with silver jewelry. She gave me some suggestions and within 10 minutes she helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses. Olga is great to work with. Went here today, on a Sunday, and Allan helped me. I wanted to go here because they sell frames from smaller independent frame makers. Allan was the most delightful and helpful Optician I've had the experience of shopping from. He actually made purchasing frames, which I dread, enjoyable!! I just got home with them, and I'm already considering the same frame in a different color. Allan was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile explaining everything to me, and helping me try on some new styles. Highly recommend going on a Sunday for Allan's help!!

I keep coming back to Spectacles For Humans because Olga has an amazing fashion sense, knows which frames will complement the shape of your face, and regularly introduces new designers you can't find anywhere else. Due to my prescription (I'm EXTREMELY nearsighted), it can be a challenge to find frames that will not only work for my prescription, but also look good on me. A couple of weeks ago I needed an upgrade, and Olga fixed me up with an amazing design by Robert La Roche. They frame my eyes and sit on my face perfectly! Olga comes through every time. She has always set me up with frames that look great, work great, and that few others have. And her customer service is second to none. Over the years she has earned my complete trust. Olga has the finest collection of designer frames, anywhere in the world. She has an exquisite, uncanny ability to match a person's personality, lifestyle and profile with an amazing pair of frames. I love this place. They have the most beautiful selection of high quality glasses and sun glasses. Days before everything shut down in March I had gone in and selected some new glasses. Before I had a chance to return they posted that they had moved. I was so happy when months later I found them just a few blocks away. Olga, the owner of the shop remembered me, remembered the glasses I had selected. It was so heart warming. I bought Italian sunglasses from them five years ago and they are in perfect condition.
