I have been going to Dr. Stamper's office for many years. I have always excellent care, and saw a number of different practitioners during that time. My most dreaded task is picking new glasses. The staff are wonderful at assisting with this - and I always get a pair that that fit well and are flattering. I highly recommend this office.

Stamper Optometry has taken excellent care of me, my wife, and our son going on 40 years now, from providing contact lenses, sports and sunglasses in the old days to higher magnification progressives today. The prescriptions accommodate my near-sightedness and astigmatism. The choice of frames are broad. Assistance in choosing new frames reflects patients, sensitivity, and fashion-consciousness.

I recently visited this optometrist and unfortunately, it was a pretty disappointing experience. For the first time ever, part of my eye exam was done by a technician instead of the doctor. When the doctor did see me, he spent maybe about 15 minutes total, and he was juggling multiple patients at the same time, going back and forth. To make matters worse, when they had me try on contact lenses, I wasn't instructed to wash my hands and there wasn't even a place to do so. I had to handle the lenses without being able to clean my hands first, which felt pretty unhygienic. After that brief check, they promised to send my prescription the same day. They didn't. I ended up having to email and call them multiple times over several days just to get that prescription. In short, the whole experience felt rushed, unprofessional, and far below the level of care I expected.

This location has been my optometrist since my childhood and they always provide the best services. Dr Golden made my yearly appointment as smooth and easily as possible and Elmer is a very thorough and friendly staff member that gave excellent customer service in selecting my new frames. Highly recommend and I always refer friends and family to this location

It is a bit hard to get an appointment over email or electronically, but once you get in you can expect efficient, expert care with clean modern equipment and an appointment conducted by professional staff. Great selection of frames, including designers, with reasonable prices and timely delivery.
