I was a new customer at Total Vision. I ran into a problem with my prescription and purchase but was completely satisfied with the resolution and the speed at which it was resolved. My only suggestion would be to anyone getting a new prescription for contacts is to ask for a complete week of samples before accepting and ordering.

My most recent visit in January 2021 went smooth and quickly despite COVID restrictions. The staff was nice and communicated clearly throughout the visit. The office felt safe through each step of my eye exam and the staff were helpful from the check-in at the front to helping me pick out new frames for my updated prescription.

these guys made it so easy to make an appointment (as a new patient I didn't have to wait weeks or months to see someone). Dr. Singh was great, she explain everything in plain English and there wasn't a hard sell to buy glasses from them, they just gave me my prescription and left the decision up to me. The staff were uber friendly too.

It did not take long to get my appointment at all, and they even got my prescription from my old eye doctor (which was about 6 hours away by car). 10/10 experience and I definitely suggest going to look for a new pair of glasses.

I was in SF and had an issue with my left eye and was very nervous. Richmond Vision care scheduled an appointment for me immediately. They were very calming and really helpful. The whole staff is amazing. Highly recommend this place weather you live in the Bay Area or visiting.

I got my vision checked here. They recommended progressive lenses for me. I resisted the recommendation, but they said that if the progressive lenses didn't work out that they'd put regular lenses in for no charge. The progressive lenses didn't work out. I went back and asked for regular lenses. They said, "you'll have to have a new eye exam so we can get the correct prescription for regular lenses." Okay, but then they would not schedule an appointment for me at a convenient time. I tried 4 times to schedule and 4 times "the doctor is very busy this week." So, I'm out $1,000 for a set of glasses that they upsold me on and they are not honoring the "free set of lenses if the progress lenses don't work out" statement. Stay away from these folks... there are plenty of other places on Geary.
