I'm absolutely repulsed. Appalled by the phone call I've just had with this establishment. I'm a 19 year old woman who has had brain injuries and issues with my eyes my whole life. I've been to doctors so many times. Optometrists and all healthcare professionals I've seen have recommended I see an opthomologist. During one of my appointments regarding my conceringly- declining vision, my doctor referred me to this facility in March. I've just gotten my referral in the mail and called to schedule my appointment, when the woman on the phone said that their doctor has decided that an appointment was unnecessary based on whatever was sent to them, so he or she will not see me. I've never met with or spoken to this person. This is disrespectful regarding my healthcare and I will consider this as discrimination and will never recommend this to anyone. Clearly the doctor I was supposed to see needs to be investigated for denying me care based on whatever he or she sees fit. I can only imagine who else has been in my position.
