Lake Tahoe Eye Care Optometry Inc was an absolute lifesaver. My glasses broke while I was on a ski trip in Tahoe and the bridge snapped -- and of course my backup pair was back at home. I was stressed and honestly thought there was no way I'd be able to get them fixed in time. I found them on Google and walked in off the street, and they were so kind and helpful from the first minute. They repaired the bridge quickly (about 15 minutes!) and I walked out with my glasses working again and my trip saved. I couldn't recommend them and their staff any higher -- truly friendly, professional, and genuine kind service.

We made an apointment to get contacts for my son. The exam cost $220. But, they didn't do the exam for contacts. So, I am out the cash, and have to start over. They would not even entertain the idea we made the appointment for contacts. Just give me your card number. In total, the exam for contacts and glasses would be $370.

Amazing service and kind people. My Rx sunglasses got crushed and the frames were twisted up pretty badly. Based on previous Google reviews, on the chance Lake Tahoe Eye Care Optometry could fix them, I walked in here. They were restored in less than 5 minutes and for a small fee of $5.

Worst healthcare experience I have ever had. I waited 2 months for an appointment. When I show up the morning of the appointment, they rudely tell me they called me and that "you didn't answer". When I asked what phone number they had in their system, they had put an incorrect phone number for my contact. Then they proceeded to tell me they didn't have a doctor to take new patients. What a waste of my time. In addition, their staff is rude and clearly incompetent. Don't waste your time with this practice.

Doctors only work part-time. Plan on appointments being scheduled 6-8 months out. Dr. Lehmann is very kind but because of their limititations in appointments, its hard to get proper care. My eye condition has worsened to a point that I need to see a specialist urgently now and "perhaps" they might be help. Why I wasnt referred prior- IDK. Additionally although they claim they sent the referral- that was never the case as confirmed by the specialist. Bummed..
