Dr. Irwin Dudow and Dr. Lydia A. Tan

I recently visited the office for an examination an returned for my lenses promptly and had a wonderful time. The examination was very thorough and the Dr. explained everything that was occurring in my eyes. I have had surgery in one of my eyes and the Dr. was able to get my eye to nearly 20/20 vision and my better eye sees better than 20/20 with the lenses. The receptionist is very kind and returned my phone call very quickly when I had a question. I see better now and I know I am returning for my yearly appointments, as I do recommend them. I love this place! I brought my kids here for a check up, I have never seen a Dr thoroughly check his patients and explain the process as he goes. It feels like its not even an appointment.and he has all the time in the world for you for questions and feedback. When my kids returned to get the glasses they were ready in about a week, not only that they dont just give you the glasses, the Dr wants to personally tailor and fit in the glasses custom to his patients. This place is great highly recommend it. Its hard to find a honest doctor of any kind, great Dr, im lucky I found one.

A very good Optomotrist. He is very nice, very thorough, and very knowledgeable. He includes many tests in the examination. His assistant is also very nice. I highly recommend this place as they did a great job on my new prescription glasses. I plan on going to him from now on.

I am so disappointed with my experience at Dr Dudow's prescription. He seemed very thorough and amiable. I believe he is an expert at what he does. The problem is, the rx he gave me is basically useless. I had explained to him during the eye exam that I would be going to Costco to have my eyeglasses made. I've had great experience there and the prices are 1/2 or more of what these doctors' offices try to charge. Dudow wanted over $500 for a pair of glasses, which is typical and fine. I have a choice however and don't want to pay that. So I took his Rx to Costco and they told me that the way the rx was written, they've never seen before and could not fill it. This was from the optometrist at Costco. The "Sphere" needs to be in increments of .25 as well as the cylinder. I called the doc while I was at Costco (after waiting 45 minutes in line), to please alter the rx so I could use it. He said no, that's the way he writes them. I said please help me out and give me a prescription I can use!. Again no. This infuriates me. He knew I was going to Costco. He took my $150 bucks. He also knew that most lens makers would be baffled by his rx. I would need to go to some "special" place that the doc recommends to get a damn pair of glasses. It's a shame that he has to be like that. I am so furious and really feel like I was duped and more importantly, wasted hours with this nonsense and no effort on Dudow's part to make it right whatsoever.

I love doctor Dudow. He is very knowledgeable in his practice and have provided great quality service for me and my daughter. He's never in a hurry and take good care of his clients. Sandy is great too.

Seemed to be very knowledgeable, and capable. I have never had an eye exam that took over an hour to complete. He performed every eye test possible to ensure he got the correct prescription.

Fantastic service! Dr. Dudow was professional as well as sociable and Dr. Tan was pleasant, attentive, and quick to offer any help if the customer seems confused and needs information. I'd recommend them to anyone.

My visit here was amazing. The staff here and the doctor are so freindly and the doctor really takes his time with you to find out if there is a problem and explains everthing you need to know very clearly. Overall this is an amzing place and would recommend it to anyone that needs to see an Optometrist about your eyes.
