Old Town Tustin Eyecare

My new patient experience at Old Town Tustin Eyecare was Excellent to say the least. The Staff was very courteous and helpful the entire visit. The examining equipment was state of the art and there were more tests and photographs on and of my eyes than any other Optometrist I had ever been to. I was really impressed by their thoroughness during the whole visit. Dr. Sarah Onaga was my examining Optometrist and she was fantastic. She is very personable and you can tell she really loves helping her patients. She is very positive and very attentive to detail. Being in the health profession myself, I can really appreciate someone who cares and who keeps up on all the latest developments. She was very patient and performed a very professional exam. She shared photographs of my eyes which I have never been offered to see anywhere else. I have total confidence in her and her office. They are the best!!!!

Great doctors, especially Dr. O, but the overall service experience is horribly marred by their terrible admins/receptionists. I drive from San Diego to visit here even 4 years after moving, a testament to the medical professionals, but the front desk has failed to make 1 of 2 of my kids appointments TWICE after confirming they had made both. They constantly fail to tell me anything is wrong until we've arrived, an hour plus drive on a Saturday, totally wasting my time. I'd like to keep coming here but I don't feel respected or appreciated as a customer even though I do as a patient. Having driven the long drive twice and been told "sorry" with no further explanation or solution, I think I am finally done wasting my valuable time.

I've been with Dr.Brown since 2015 after moving back to Orange County and I love coming here. The staff are amazing very attentive professional and my eyes are medically necessary so they were able to help me get my contacts covered. They have a fantastic selection of glasses and it's always a treat to be in the old town Tustin area. Parking is a breeze and you can grab a treat afterwards. Highly recommend their office if you're looking for a new optometrist.

They were so amazing! I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. All the staff were so friendly and listened to my concerns. Darell was especially helpful. I have really bad light sensitivity so he walked me through my options to get axon optics lens with my prescription. Dr. Coloma was also so friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to use my insurance too for a new pair of normal glasses and I love the frames. The pair I got with axon optics have already been SO helpful and I've only had them for a week. Darell was right, they aren't a miracle cure but I've definitely had less headaches. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable optometrist.

Fantastic experience! This is a very professional group. The office staff is very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful, they don't miss a beat with scheduling, notifications or insurance. Dr. Brown (Susan) was excellent. She was extremely patient with my very detailed descriptions of my eyes and vision status, and my special needs for my computer work station set up. Their frames shop is top notch and has a great variety of styles.

Dr. Brown has been my eye doctor for the past several years and my care and dealings with the office staff have been nothing short of exceptional. My previous eye doctor and his office were fine, as have been all of the offices I have visited since I was a child (lots of poor vision in my family), but every aspect of my visits to this office and with Dr. Brown have been consistently 5-star. Dr. Brown is attentive, and every suggestion he has made (or helped me make) in my eye care has been the right one to help the health of my eyes and consistency of my vision. The office seems to have state-of-the-art equipment. It is modern and professional, and the choice of glasses is quite diverse. The various office staff I have interacted with are consistently courteous, helpful, and incredibly efficient. Need to figure out the rebates on contacts? They print you extra receipts and walk you through the process. Need extra help on choosing frame styles to match your face? They are rather stylish people themselves and have helped me choose frames from the very vague descriptions of my preferences. This is a fantastic set of people. You should definitely visit.

Absolutely love Old Town Tustin Eye Care!! Dr. Darren Brown has been my optometrist for all of my eye care needs. I have actually gone to Dr. Brown for the past 9 years since he was at the Irvine office and moved over in Tustin. He is the best optometrist there is because he really cares about his patients and very passionate about his work. He is very detail oriented, knowledgeable, honest, personable, patient, and give the best care possible. Especially since my prescription is really high (I've been nearsighted since I was in kindergarten and only has gotten dramatically worse in high school), my eyes require the highest quality care and attention. Dr. Brown always made sure my vision is balanced from the contacts/glasses and keep up with the health of my eyes. The staff at Old Town Tustin is also very nice and attentive. The doctors and staff will definitely take care of you! I only have the highest compliment for Dr. Brown, he is my forever optometrist and my husband goes to him, too, now.

I have been going to Old Town Tustin Eye Care for a few years, and the staff is consistently professional and accommodating. They take great care of my eyes, have a clean and inviting office and carry a great selection of glasses/frames. However, the reason I return is because the staff and doctors genuinely care for me and my family. You can never underestimate the power of making someone feel valued. My wife, daughters and I have had great experiences here. I highly recommend Old Town Tustin Eye Care.
