Rarely do I feel compelled to write a review about a doctor's office but I have been a patient of Dr. Tran's for over 7 years! I originally picked this location because I lived across the street but have since been returning to this office because I enjoy the product selection. There's always a change in product which keeps me excited every time it's time for my annual check up. I recently moved away from Irvine but because I was unhappy with LensCrafters and Costco, I found myself driving all the way back here because of their service. Now it sounds pretty far fetched to think I'd drive over 70 miles just to try on different glasses. But what really prompted me to do it was Emily and her hospitality. She works at the front and has been a joy to work with every time I come in for a visit. Last week, I was particularly frustrated with my experience at LensCrafters. I seriously doubted their ability to provide me with a great deal AND they cost a significant amount more than other retailers. Having nobody else to turn to but my old doctor's office, I gave them a call 5 minutes before closing. Emily took the time to look up my account and prescription and provided me with their pricing with my insurance factored into it. That level of customer service alone was the very reason why I decided to drive back to Irvine to purchase my next set of glasses. She didn't have to stay on the phone after the office was closed, but she was happy to answer all of my questions and was so kind about it. Mind you, I could have gone to Costco and paid significantly less without even using my insurance but I was so grateful for her help that I was eager for this office to receive my business for another year. Upon arriving, I was so shocked by the variety of frames available. It was my first time seeing Fendi, Prada, and even Loewe there. Notable mentions include Gucci, Persol, Oliver Peoples, and Cartier. Emily took the time to consult my decisions and even assisted in finding me cheaper alternatives that fit my face shape better. Of course, we ended up with the most expensive frames, but that was on me and certainly not on her. I really appreciated the non-sales aspect of it because at LensCrafters they wouldn't even let me see their non-designer collection because they just wanted me to buy the most expensive frames... a little service goes a long way! I'm extremely happy with my service as I have been for the last 7 years. While I can't promise I'll continually return since I live way further than down the street, it's nice to know that even though I'm not in Irvine anymore, they continue to elevate their product and their service year after year. For work I have had to have many different eye exams in many corners of the country. Dr. Tran is simply the best! Professional, friendly, and an expert in her field. I had not been to her office in nearly 5 years and she remembered every detail of my life. Dr. Tran is so down to earth, an awesome optometrist, and an even better human. Now I look forward to my annual eye exam every year!

The whole team was wonderful! I enjoyed my experience . This was my first time going to Dr. Tran. She was very thorough and took her time with my exam. She's the first Optometrist to explain why no prescription is going to be perfect for me at this time (my lense power falls at the quarter mark and they don't make contacts in quarter powers for my level of impairment). She also gave me a demo to help illustrate this and she helped me figure out which readers to buy. Thank you for helping me get some answers!!

Place is clean and welcoming, However I thought a found a place that I would be able to stay with. I lost my glasses and the receptionist was suppose to call me back and let me know if my insurance approved my lost request. I've waited 2 weeks and heard nothing. I called in and spoke with Kelly to get some help and she was helpful and i explained my situation and she advised me to come on in. Unfortunately; it only take one time for me to experience this and I will be looking for a new eye doctor ! If my insurance didn't authorize my glasses the receptionist should have called and told me. I would have came to the office to pay in full cash to get another pair of glasses!! Communication is key with any business!

The doctor is nice and the staff is friendly but unfortunately their prices for frames are outrageous. While I understand this is a private bussiness and they need to make money, charging more than double (verified) the cost for frames compared to other places is unprofessional and feels exploitative. It is disappointing because service itself is good, but pricing practices make it hard to trust intentions. I won't be returning.

Dr.Tran is simply amazing she took her time with our exams she explained everything. She offers an eye image for only 25 per person which makes it affordable, to ensure your eye health is optimal. I'm so grateful I found her. I usually don't leave many reviews. I did not feel rushed picking out frames they even helped my daughter and I select. I just love her, and her staff they have great customer service, and very welcoming just the way it should be.

Dr Kelly Tran has been my optometrist over 20 years. I always trusted her professional judgement and every visit I made to her office was always a very positive experience. She and her staff were always providing great service. Even when I moved from around her location, for many years I continued to come to her office for an annual check up and for any changes in glasses or contacts. Recently, she moved to Orange County but was still very responsive when I approached to her about a new problem that I have encountered related to my vision. Dr. Kelly Tran immediately responded to my call, provided professional consultation, and closely followed the process for a solution to my problem. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Tran as my optometrist near or far throughout my life and I highly recommend her.
