Just moved eye doctors , Desert Family eye care was great loved the decor they had in there for Halloween felt very welcomed . Testing went good they went into detail before every eye test and explained everything very well. Listened to any questions I had . And helped explain what was covered with my insurance. We had an amazing experience. Would highly recommend to friends and family .

I was very grateful they were able to reschedule me due to being sick, this way I dont miss out on my insurance benefits before year end. Everyone from beginning to end is very nice, informative, efficient, and helpful. Nice selection of designer frames! Can't wait to pick them up! New Year, New look!

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received at your eye care center on 01/08/26. During my visit, I was hoping to get assistance from my optometrist in filling out two forms provided by my employer, as well as obtaining measurements for two sample frames. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite being a regular patient and member of your eye care center, along with five other members of my household--three of whom recently purchased glasses from your establishment--the staff did not cooperate in filling out the necessary forms. They also failed to provide the required information and treated me poorly simply because I was not purchasing glasses from your center this time. I have the opportunity to acquire glasses for my work through my employer, which necessitates having these forms completed by my optometrist. However, the lack of assistance and the unfriendly behavior I encountered was unexpected and deeply hurtful. This experience has led me to reconsider our family's association with your eye care center. If this issue is not promptly resolved, I regret to inform you that my family members and I will withdraw from your services. My problem is more with the lab they decide to use to make the lenses. I had my appointment on 01/21/2026, picked out my glasses, waited for about 2 weeks. Got a call saying the lab will not make my glasses because of the curve of the lense, so I had to pick out another frame. So I went in and did, and was told it would be a rush order since I been waiting so long for my glasses. Was offered no discount, but they added to my order because they "forgot" to charge me for the anti-reflective lens...so now instead of any discount, I'm paying more for glasses that are already late, a frame that wasn't my top pick, and still haven't arrived yet....today is 03/05/2026, and still no glasses. Last time for sure I'm coming here. I Bumped it up to 2 stars because they did offer me a discount on my balance for taking almost 2 months to get my glasses.

My recent eye exam was thorough and did not take much time at all. The assistant gave me clear directions and explanations, he also sanitized all equipment before and after. The Dr is friendly and professional. Her directions were also clear and easy to understand. I am a teacher so I regularly book my appointments for afternoons so I don't have to miss any work. I would recommend this location to any family or friends.

I called to see if I can make an appointment and spoke with Steven, who was extremely, extremely extremely rude. He told me that he did NOT have time to call and verify my insurance. I clearly advised him that I had already called and verified that this Optometrist accepts my insurance and that once I came in for my visit the insurance rep advised if there were any issues, that the office can call to verify. I also spoke with Makenzie, the office manager and she was also extremely extremely rude she told me that she was not there during the conversation I had with Steven, she talked over me when I tried to talk, she did not let me speak, she also confirmed by saying" Yea, we don't have time to call your insurance company while we are on the phone with you" Clearly she did not and was not interested in what I had previously said. The customer service experience for a new patient is a double negative 0. One star does no justice. I was referred to Dr. Jolly by an attorney that I work with. She was very surprised and said that she would speak with her. Very bad experience with this office staff. We pay pricey premiums and do not deserve to be treated with rudeness from office staff like Steven and Mackenzie.

This place is an incredible place to have your eyes checked. The staff was a pleasure to work with. The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great experience.

I had a very disappointing experience at Desert Family Eye Care. I came in to look for glasses using an existing prescription. After explaining this, the receptionist repeatedly asked about my insurance and then quickly listed different Aetna-related plans. She spoke so fast that I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times. Even though there were no other patients in the office, I felt rushed and dismissed. When a patient is unsure about insurance details, it would be helpful for staff to look at the insurance card and assist instead of being impatient. The receptionist was rude and not helpful. Because of this experience, I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere.
