Dr Brandyn Chen is awesome!! He's extremely competent and personable, answered all my questions in detail and performed a careful and thorough eye exam. Dr Chen is the example of an ideal practitioner! The practice also has all the modern equipment to make your check ups quick and easy but thorough and accurate.

With or without my corrective lenses, it is clear to see that this is a great place to go! I have many visits to both sides of the office, and it has always been a positive experience every step of the way. Everyone that I have ever interacted with during my many visits has been extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. And I love my glasses! Overall, if I could give more than five stars I would.

Why get cataract surgery? Get clear vision? Better Vision? No longer wear glasses? All of these things are the dreams that are expressed to you BEFORE surgery, afterwards all you get are office workers bullying you into believing this was a successful surgery because the notes say, blah, blah, blah. Let's look at the reality, I paid $3,015.00 & my ins was billed $13,868.00 for an eye that sees as bad (or worse) than I did before. They can't even get glasses to improve the vision on that eye. Also I have purchased 5 - 6 glasses with each one supposed to be "better", and they were not, I still see 20/50 to 20/80. I am a senior living on Social Security & that $ I paid for those glasses was 2 months of my SS income. I asked for a refund since the surgery was unsuccessful, I was switched from one person to another in the office & after 2 weeks they told me no. I guess they need the money more than me but I doubt that. Please think carefully before getting cataract surgery, they are not always successful. I have visited Greider Eye Associates twice and will never go back. The first time I requested to see Dr. Greider as he came highly recommended. I made an appointment specifically requesting Dr. Greider, however when I checked in for my appointment it was with another Dr. I insisted on seeing Dr. Greider and had to reschedule my appointment. A year later, for my annual checkup I again made an appointment with Dr Greider and even called back to verify that the appointment was with Dr. Greider. I showed up for the appointment today and found my appointment was with a Dr Gardener. I was only told this after I had already checked in and paid my copay. On top of it all, I waited over 40 minutes in the waiting room before being seen. Switching Doctors at check in does not inspire any confidence in their practice and then sitting around until it is convenient for them to see you is unacceptable. While I was there waiting someone else left because of the long wait. I will not be back.

I went to Greider Eye to get "real glass" progressive lenses for my frames. When I cleaned them for the first time I noticed little circles in the glass. I went to their office and the optical manager said that's the way they are made. She blew me off. She did not even look at them. I contacted another optical store and they said no they are not supposed to be that way. Greider Eye would not fix them. Then when I asked for my eye measurements so I could go someplace else they refuse to give them to me. I was told that that is Dr Greider's policy. In other words I would have to pay someone again for my medical information. This is against the HEPAA law. My advice is do not go to Greider's you will be very unhappy. Bruce Lee

Amazing experience with Dr. Greider. He recommended the right replacement lenses for my cataracts and the process was smooth, easy, and fast! Dr. Greider has a calm demeanor and guides you through the process using the latest technology and procedures. I researched many doctors before deciding and it was the best decision I have ever made. NO pain or discomfort and I now have perfect vision on both eyes with crystal clear vision! Life changing to say the least!

Literally the worst place ever for eye services! They won't even notify you that your contacts will arrive late. You will literally be out of contacts for a month. Had to order them from somewhere else. The doctor got my prescription all wrong for my glasses. Had to come back to do another eye exam for them to get it correct. I continue to get a bill even though I paid for everything my last visit. Supervisor Violet is no help at all and is argumentative. Will never come back here again. It is like a factory and a waste of time to come here because no one can do their job correctly.

I'm 71 years old and this is the first time I have felt the need to complain. Worst medical experience ever. Called me half an hour before i was to leave for appt to reschedule 2 hrs later. When I got there later people were complaining about waiting over 3 hours. Quickest eye exam I have ever had. I am not happy with my glasses and have spent $$ buying multiple pairs. Should have waited because I am going elsewhere for a second opinion. Staff was nice and personable. They also got my bifocals wrong.
