Dr. Chod needs to learn to treat his patients with respect and concern. The main thrust of the office and of Dr. Chod seems to be giving patients shots with very little effort made to understand the patients as individuals or to explain to them their condition and treatment plans. The good physicians I have gone to over my lifetime, have all taken the time to at least talk to me, show me lab and imaging results and discuss options. When I asked to see my most recent images, Dr. Chod handed me one sheet of paper then made a snarky remark asking me to interpret it. This is unacceptable. People's eyes are obviously very important and the attitude of the doctor needs to reflect that and show at lease some concern for the patient and perhaps even get to know that person, at least a little bit. Perhaps he is a great physician, but his bedside manner is off-putting and arrogant.

Saw Dr Ross Chod at Retina Specialist of Colorado for eye floaters which were severe enough to warrant surgery. Dr Chod is very professional, yet personable and answered all my questions and concerns. He doesn't rush through and explains everything. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional as well. Minimal wait time and clean, comfortable waiting areas. Would highly recommend Dr Chod as well as Retina Specialist of Colorado.

I was delighted to get a fresh perspective from this group. Dr. Chodd is a plain speaking experienced eye specialist who was open to my questions. He didn't force me to look at images when I really had more straightforward questions and concerns. He's transparent about his expertise and who may know more on certain topics. My only complaint about the experience is the waiting area is a little small for a busy day. It was loaded with people showing common cold symptoms. Dr. Chodd would treat my family well!
