Walmart Vision & Glasses

I think some of the lower reviews are more due to the staffing problems we have That are typicalin Evergreen Colorado. They don't have enough people for the phones. But as far as the glasses center, and Vision, they have always been incredibly kind and gone above and beyond for me. I'm not saying the other reviews are false, but I can only say that my experience has been nothing but really really good. Nicole and her group are very patient with all of my requests.

I have had many problems. I just called and the left me on hold for over 20 minutes. The doctor is super nice. The ladies at the vision center and rude and short 80% of the time. At least 3 or 4 times ordering my contacts they forgot to order them or never told me they came in until I called, or were out of stock which isn't their fault, but there is always something.

Whoever answers calls there needs to go. Extremely unprofessional and have no idea what they are doing. Been going there for almost a decade an I'm cancelling tomorrows appointment due to the ladies answering the phone.

The lady that did my paperwork with me was incredibly rude and disrespectful. She decided to take the personal info I put down on my intake paperwork to make fun of me in the public waiting room for not having an emergency contact. Said, "wow, that's not good. You really need to work on that." Work on what???? My parents are addicted to pain medication because doctors overprescribed them medication so, it sounds like she wants me to work on getting her fired to improve the healthcare system. This is a violation of my personal information and I'll be calling as far up the chain of command that I can- as well as blasting my experience allllll over the internet for everyone to see. What happened to me today feels illegal and I feel like nobody took me seriously when I complained. Trash company- trash employees- trash service. DO NOT USE these guys unless you want to be made fun of for things you can't control. ZERO/5 stars, I wouldn't recommend this treatment to my worst enemies.

Doctor was nice but the lady getting my glasses was very nosy about my life and acted judgy. as a neurodivergent I felt so uncomfortable that I got overwhelmed and said I was emotional so she finally stopped. If you are also neurodivergent be aware you may get interrogated by a lady selling you glasses. I'd give one star just from the awful experience with the nosy lady but I will do 3 stars since the doctor was nice.

Extremely regretful experience. If you try to call, the phone rings 100 times for the main store and then another 100 times for the vision center every time. The employees and managers don't care enough to answer it and they have no call center. When the vision center eventually answers, they say they're too busy to help you and will call you back. Then they never call you back. If you show up without an appointment, you're never seen. If you show up with an appointment, you're seen 30 minutes or more after your appointment time. Debra was very helpful in picking a frame. However, I've been waiting three weeks now. The lenses arrived after 1.5 weeks but "the lab didn't send the frame". The manager, Nicole, tried to slyly get the damaged $140 frame (paint was worn off) from the wall to give to me rather than the new frame I paid for. I told her I paid for a new frame and she said "well I guess we can order one from the lab." Why wasn't this done to begin with? Still no frame, no estimate on how long it will be, I waste 20 minutes of my time or more every time I inquire, and am never given any indication of when the frame will arrive. Wal Mart is a terrible organization to do business with. And this is a particularly poorly managed store. It's widely known that Wal Mart treats their employees terribly, so the good ones all leave and they're stuck with the incompetent or lazy ones. As such, the entire organization just doesn't work, top down, regardless of department. The sad thing is that they simply don't care. Customer service is considerably below the standards set by their competitors. I shouldn't have taken the leap to give them another chance after a long list of failures in years prior. I'll update this post if the frames ever arrive and the lenses actually work. I have my doubts it's ever going to happen. UPDATE: I did eventually receive my glasses, and Debra, per usual, was very nice and helpful. She's great. The department is not. They did a half-hearted job filling out my insurance paperwork; my insurance company sent me what they submitted along with my resounding denial of claim. So the whole thing will have to be appealed simply because half the form wasn't filled out. The frame is as I expected. The lenses seem... off. I don't know if it's the pupillary distance or they sit too close or too far from my eyes... all I know is they're blurry, unequal, and cause a lot of eye strain, even after a several-month adjustment period. I'm not sure how to correct this issue without simply getting new glasses. Which I will not get at Wal Mart again.

Worst experience I've ever had. I went here to save money because no insurance. Big mistake. They do not do an in depth exam to ensure they get your Rx correct. My prescription from a 5 star doctor (lakefront eyecare, I highly recommend them) was WAY different- I went back to my 5 star Dr and of course walmart 'Dr' had it completely wrong. I contacted walmart eye center to see if they would refund my exam money because it was absolutely wrong. They laughed at me and were extremely rude. Avoid this place at all costs.

I sat on my trii-focals a day before an international trip....the person who helped me, Mary, was fantastic. She saved me ....I am headed to Europe and now I'll be able to see it! Mary took the time to refit my lenses and was knowledgeable and professional in every way!
