America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Absolutely junk glasses, I had to buy a glasses repair kit so I could tighten both pairs EVERY day only a month or two after purchasing. If I don't, they fall apart and the lens just fall right out of the frame. If I'm out and about, I just have no glasses until I get home or else I risk losing the lens entirely. Every. Day. They both have the exact same problem in the same exact place as well. Pretty much brand new glasses. Not a single scratch on the lenses from misuse either. I treat all of my stuff with great respect. I came here because my old frames snapped after 7 years. Never had this issue and I bought my last pair in 2018 from an americas best. Another corporation increasing prices and decreasing quality. I spent over 300$ to buy cheap glasses that I have to repair. Every. Day. Worst place to get glasses now. They never fitted them to my face...when did they stop doing that? I presume the problem is either in manufacturing or customer service. When I came in to get my glasses (why can't you just ship to my place???) all they did was hand them to me in cheap see through containers and said "that's it".... I attached a picture of evidence to prove everything I said and to point out the "problem" area that exists on both glasses. The screw in that picture is NOT the screw that comes with these glasses because as you can imagine. I've had to replace them multiple times. DO NOT and I reapeat DO NOT get glasses from americas best.

Absolutely the worse place to buy glasses at the Lakewood location!! I've been going for years. Now it's run by children who do not answer phone. Do not come back on the phone. Don't know what they are doing are not trained well. Understaffed. Rude. Incompetent. I bought two pair of glasses with everything. Spent 800 on the glasses and contacts. They never gave me the contacts for reading and distance. I called and they said they would send to me because I live in Boulder and it's far. They sent me the same wrong ones The prescription. Is wrong the area for clean distance sight is too high when I look straight ahead. It's blurry unless in tilt my head down I've driven down to Lakewood twice to get this resolved and I went an hour before they closed to get the "fixed lenses " out in. Wrong again and there were two people working one had been there a week the other was rude and dismissive and not helpful. Told me I'd have to drive back down to speak to the manager Myra I have no idea what's going on there but it's the worst I've ever experienced. Run by children that are not trained!!!! Help

I was shocked at the service I received. Every employee that was at this location when I was seen, was BEYOND helpful and kind. I was able to get a same day appointment...I will FOR SURE come back to this location, for any eyewear, eye care, and eye exams that I may need in the future.. So incredibly happy with my entire experience today

If you visit this location, ask for Mayra she is truly wonderful to work with. She has helped me multiple times and even went out of her way to fix an issue with my glasses that I didn't know about. I've always had great experiences with America's Best, and Mayra makes it even better! I've also been seeing Dr. Kern for many years, and I appreciate him so much as well. He's incredibly knowledgeable and always gets my prescription exactly right every time. Thank you for always having the greatest service!

Came in about two weeks ago Adriana the optician was wonderful she helped me picked out two pairs of glasses she gave me really nice input on what looks good on me and what fits my face and took time explains the lenses and prices went over the price and all the different options so attentive and detailed person also love how she made small talk and asked about my plans and what I did over the weekend really loved working with her. I am very happy that I came and she was the one who helped me.

Awful service, rude desk people. Calling someone and saying that your doctor only sees young people IS IN FACT calling the person old, you passive aggressive jerks. Also, I scrutinized your website there is absolutely nothing saying that your remote doctors only see " young " people, and if that is the case, simple coding prevents any " old " people from signing up when a regular doctor isnt available. This is my second time trying to use them. The first time took over 3 tries to get the glasses and prescription right. Chances are we are all a bit tight on cash, thats why were using this place, USE ANY OTHER LOCATION>

I have asked for my prescription, three times. Every single time they have given me the wrong prescription. As they are unable to email it, I had to pay to have it faxed at a local UPS only for it to be the wrong prescription again. I called the store and was told I could've just accessed my prescription online all along. Please let your patients know this to begin with as I've called multiple times and was never told this was an option.

I dealt with a male salesperson and right from the start he acted like printing a receipt was the most unreasonable request anyone had ever made. I asked if he could print the one from my visit last week and he hit me with about three "why's" like I was asking for state secrets. Bro... I just want the paper. Then I explained that the trial contacts I got last week were the wrong prescription (+1.50 instead of -1.50). I accidentally opened them before realizing I was basically blind folding myself, my fault! But when I asked if I could get the correct pair, he shut me down immediately like I was trying to scam the one and only America's Best. At that point I just tapped out because the attitude was Olympic level. Thankfully, his coworker stepped in, saved the day, answered everything, and actually treated me like a customer. I walked out seeing clearly thanks to her.
