I have been searching for a new optometrist for the past 3 months and was having really bad luck findings a Dr. who was professional and kind at the same time. I finally found that when I decided to come to Lakewood Eye Center. I have been so impressed with every interaction I've had. Starting with Joseph, who is very attentive and kind, to Dr. Wellensiek who is patient, listens, and gives thorough feedback. Everyone who works here is professional and has all the knowledge to answer any questions on the spot. Scheduling was super easy and fast. I will be making this office my primary for any of my eye needs.

Dr Wellensiek has been taking care of me since I moved here from Mississippi three years ago. She is a caring and very bright Dr. Her assistant, Joseph, and all her staff are very welcoming and helpful. She has guided me through my glaucoma issues and I'm very pleased with my treatment. I highly recommend Lakewood Eye Center! Wait times are minimal as well. The doctor is very organized and knows how to schedule her patients so there's no waiting.

I've been a patient of Dr Wellensiek for a few years. Both the doctor and staff are very friendly and always take great care of me. The receptionist always remembers my name and Joseph, the technician is always friendly and helpful. Dr Wellensiek sent me to Cherry Hills Surgery Center to have cataract surgeries this summer. They were super efficient and both eyes came out 20/15 when I saw Dr W. for my final post op exam. I highly recommend both Lakewood Eye Center and Cherry Creek Surgery Center.

Brought a friend there. They are incredibly Rude! I watched from the parking lot as a Hispanic staff member torn into the parking lot in her Dodge Charger, guess she was late? Don't know what happens but he left upset, they threatened to call the police because he wasn't happy with their treatment. For $500 you'd think they'd have at least a little class.. but no. They are horrible
