American Vision Center

I have been to American Vision Center a few times now over the years and is always an exceptional experience each time! The staff is always very friendly at the front desk, never have had to wait when my appointment is due, which is great. Dr Howell is very caring, always asks you if you have any questions and doesn't try to rush you when your exam is completed. I really like that because almost every place I've been to at other doctor's appointments- they try to rush out of there so fast that you don't even have time to stop them to ask a question. When highly recommend American Vision Center!

I was skeptical after I walked in here a couple of times to check out pricing on some of their frames, but I'm pretty impressed! I was able to find a pair of frames that were not only fairly affordable, but they fit perfectly. I did not realize how badly my old glasses were bothering me until I finally bought new ones and wasn't necessarily rushed or irritated by the lack of selection. The customer service is great once you get to the lady who fits your specs. They can be a little pushy/skeptical of your intentions if you're not already in there for an exam, or so was my experience. It paid off though and I'll most likely come back for additional eyewear and care purchases. They were able to pull my insurance info pretty easily, which was very nice. Check 'em out!

Our entire family have been patients at American Vision Center for years. The entire staff is excellent & always responsive & helpful. It's really great when you find a doctor you trust and can stay with for the long haul. American Vision Center is that for our family.

It's been 5 years, the year 2020, since I went here. I really desperately wish I could remember the doctor's name in which I'd seen. However she was absolutely wonderful. This was the first eye appointment I had ever been to in which I had an actual thorough exam. And also the first eye doctor which listened to me without doubt and without denying me of any symptom I've experienced or question in which I had for her. She was polite and kind. And the best part about it all was the accuracy in my len prescription. She was also, once again, the first doctor to ever find my prescription and give me clear beautiful sight. It helps to note to anyone whom may be in a facility of any sort; at the time of my visit I was currently a patient at a drug and alcohol rehab. Still, this doctor was not prejudice, she did not pass judgement or make me feel uncomfortable, andI didn't feel less than in her presence. Matter of fact she commended me in my courage and smiled while wishing me a brighter future, (words are definitely not verbatim however it's closest to what I can remember and it's how I remember understanding the meaning of her words). This is a wonderful place. The only down fall I can speak of is the cost. The cost of the frames and the cost of the lenses were outrageous. Truly. Smh. I want to see her again. However, I won't be able to afford my glasses. And so I'm given no choice but to go else where and pray they get my prescription correct and thoroughly check my eyes. Especially considering so many doctors have struggled to do a darn thing in the past at all for my eyes.

Well organized clinic. Staff are prepared and on time, there is never any chaos or confusion. The Optometrist listens to my concerns and I don't feel rushed.

First visit (needed to change due to insurance coverage): easy check in process, very low friction. Time efficient and professional.

This eye doctor is awesome. The ladies are very nice and courteous. I was in taken care of and out in a timely manner I've been coming here for years. They're Awesome!
