Our family has used Colorado Eye Center for years, probably like 20 years. We started when Dr. Fukai had the office and have stayed through the transition to Colorado Eye Center. We have always had a wonderful experience, from making the appointment through the exam. My husband and I both got contacts through them for years and finally, 10 years ago, had Lasik through their recommendation, and have been very happy with the results. Each exam is reasonably priced (we don't have eye insurance) and very thorough. Options and alternatives fully explained and clear. Highly recommend.
Have been going to Colorado Eye Center - Louisville for years now. My current doctor is Lisa Jordan, and she is the best; always professional, genuinely concerned, and ALWAYS happy. It brightens your day to spend time with her. The staff are all helpful, courteous, and professional as well. Exams include the latest technologies and you will leave feeling your eyesight is being looked after very well.
I never write reviews, but I have to say how disappointed I am in how much the quality of service at Colorado Eye Center has gone down recently. I used to feel like the eye doctors and staff at the center really cared about their patients and made sure everything went smoothly.
Recently, though, it seems as though they have gone through a change in staff and no longer prioritize their patients. The new eye doctor I saw at my last appointment was ok, but she didn't really take much time to answer my questions or engage with my concerns about my eye health.
Then, the woman in charge of billing tried to charge me extra money. Under my insurance, you get a reduction in the cost of a contact lens exam if you order contacts too. The center doesn't carry my strength of contact lenses in the store, so they have to order trials. The woman in charge of billing tried to bill me for the full price of the contact lens exam because I "wasn't ordering contacts the same day as the exam" since we had to order trials first, which is absurd, because I obviously need to get the trials before I can order the contacts. She argued with me extensively and refused to back down until I told her I wasn't going to sign the receipt unless she changed it. I don't know what their business model is, but I got the sense she was intentionally trying to over-charge me. Her attitude was of haughty annoyance; while I was in earshot, she complained to another staff member how busy she was with organizing things in the back room and implied she was annoyed to be having to deal with this.
On top of all of that, it's been almost three weeks and my contact lens trials have not yet arrived. I was originally told they should be here in 2-5 business days. I've called multiple times and each time, a staff member has said they'd call and check on them, and never called me back.
Most of the staff members with whom I have interacted in the last month have acted as if my presence is an inconvenience to them. I am not a demanding person - but I'm not going to roll over when a business is trying to over charge my insurance, fails to deliver products, and doesn't seem to care whether or not I have a good experience.
I've been a patient at CO Eye Center for many years now. Fours years ago I had a sever dry eye problem and had the see Dr. Jordon over and over again. She was so patient with me, so kind and caring.
Dr. Jordan and all the staff are wonderful and helpful. I give them a 10 - for sure.
While the doctors are good, I would not recommend buying your glasses from them. The glasses I purchased from them broke, the manufacturer warranty had expired and they charged me $100 to repair. After two months the glasses broke again at the same place. I contacted them and they wanted another $100 to fix them.
I took my business elsewhere and they fixed them FREE for me. I made an apt for an eye exam and ordered by new glasses at Euro Optics.
I have experience with Dr.. Kuskie and his team in regards to contacts, eyeglasses and eventually Lasik. I went to this eye doctor for ~4 years and I cannot recommend this place more. The front desk staff were always awesome and Dr. Kuskie is exactly what you should want in an eye doctor: always honest, happy to explain anything, boisterously nice, and clearly knows what he is talking about.
If you are looking for an eye doctor look no further, this is the place.
I've been going here for one year and the service has been excellent. The doctors explain and educate you, they ensure to get the proper prescription, and I am very satisfied. They were the only ones to get my prescription just right for my vision and ensured I received the proper contact lense. 5 stars!
Dr. Paige is so friendly!!! They also helped me find a pair of glasses and were honest with me on what did and didn't look good. This was everyone you would want to see at an eye doctor appointment. 10/10 recommend!
