First off the eye exam they wanted $200 for. That included my insurance. Then I ordered a pair of glasses for my wife. We spent $469 including insurance. I wanted my wife to have a very good pair of glasses. When I asked her to write down my wife's pupilary distance she explained that Walmart owns that information. I think it's absolutely fraudulent! How can someone own my wife's medical records. I went down to America's Best because the woman behind the counter actually told me yeah this is a rip off go here. The eye doctor was a really nice guy. The people who work for Walmart were absolutely rude. I was heated and really upset that you could not give me the pupillary distance so I could order a pair of Smith optics sunglasses for her. At America's Best I got my glasses and they each adjusted my wife's glasses. She wrote down my pupillary distance for me and explained that she cannot print it out. As far as I'm concerned America's best has all of my business from this day forward. Walmart you're a rip off and I will never go there and everyone I talk to and including by social media I have explained this story!

Bought two pair in August (regular and sunglasses). After two months they were so scratched from normal cleaning with microfiber cloth and water they were unwearable. I've had many pairs of glasses in my life but none including ten dollar readers were such terrible quality. I asked if they had a warranty and was told they used to have one but shortly before I purchased it became an add on which I declined. Quite obvious why they did away with the warranty. Wouldn't recommend to anyone but if you get glasses here make sure you get the extended warranty and have plenty of time to get new glasses every couple months.

The optometrist was super friendly and took the time to make sure that her estimations were very accurate. Very surprised and operated well above my normal Walmart experience. Had an eyeglass repair emergency and my optometrist was not open, nor was the much closer to me Putnam Wal-Mart Vision Center. Called the Brooklyn Wal-Mart vision center, spoke to "Luke" (sixtyish man with a beard), who told me to come on down. Luke fixed my glasses in minutes with a smile and at no charge ! I was very impressed and appreciative.

Having had purchased my glasses here, I thought getting a new pair same perscription would be simple.NOT. Found the technician very unhelpful. Can not make new glasses without new perscription, cannot attempt to remove scratches from existing glasses. Can not seem to get out of his chair. Went home, got on line, Eyebuydirect.
