SightMD Connecticut (Fichman Eye Center)

Had an appointment yesterday at this place and I must say this is one of the most family oriented businesses in New Britain. I was treated like family. There was no wait, I was seen right away and taken care of by the staff. I wish I could give them 10 stars . I will definitely be back for my yearly exam.

They were very welcoming and easy to deal with. I had to get new frames twice due to the arm breaking off but I had no problem. It was a defect with the frames not the service. They were very accommodating.

i have been going to fichman eye center for some time and back in september of this year, i needed to have new glasses made, so i went to get them done and i was told that they couldn't make the old one's that i was wearing, so i said ok, what do you have in the line of new one's. i was shown the silloulet glasses and i liked how light that they were, i was told that they couldn't make my round lenses at that time and i knew that with the way that they can make lenses they can make anything at all, so i was talked into going with oval lenses which i really do not care for for the most part at all, so a short time later, i had a pair of octagon lenses made in dealing with rebeucca at the time was a total night mare, i had to show her what they looked like and then she had to look up on the company's web site as to see if they had a pattern to be able to make them. then when i went to pick up my second pair she then tells me that we can make your round glasses for you. i do not like being conned into paying for a certain kind of lenses that i do not want in the first place. after my experance with the first pair, it has made me give it some serious thought to finding another place to get my glasses at. i do not know what has happened to this place over the years but from what i can see things have gone down hill big time. and not for the better

Serviced their property for snow removal for many years with no issue. Last year we serviced them and never received payment after many attempts to contact them with no response.

Over 20 years ago I had Lasik surgery with Dr. Fichman. I have since had cataract surgery. Had 20/20 vision at my appointment today. Great doctors and pleasant, efficient staff.

One person sucks there but the service is great. Always get my glasses there great selections.

Always a pleasure to go there. Folks are friendly and professional and I appreciate the fast service.

Easy parking. Nice building. Friendly staff.
