The people that collected my info and showed me frames were great. Plus BJs was the only local place to fit my exam in on the same day. However, the actual exam was conducted remotely and the review by the doctor were conducted so quickly that I felt like a number, not a patient. I would not recommend them if you are solidly in perfect health.

Not happy about the eye exam. The person who did my eye exam for glasses was way too fast. I could not follow properly because he was switching so fast that I could not concentrate on my reading.

Have used BJ Optical for many years. They have always had great prices, service, and a personal touch to their service. This past time we worked with Lynn, and I was impressed with the amount of time she gave my daughter to find the perfect frame for her glasses, making sure they were the right size, shape, and fit. They estimated that it would take two weeks for the glasses to come in, but it took about a week. Highly recommend.

Let me say first--everyone was pleasant and very helpful. The reason for a low score is the cost. It feels like a good deal, buy one get one free, but the first set of glasses was $400 and if I got the second free pair it would cost about another $200.
It's just expensive. Only the second set of frames is free, but you have to spend a lot of money overall.
