I have been purchasing regular glasses, sunglasses, and athletic eyewear from Optical Shop of Westport for many years. They are all progressives, and they always come out perfectly! I would never buy glasses anywhere else. In addition, Margharet is a pleasure to work with.

The Optical Shop of Westport has an incredible selection of frames. I've worn glasses almost my entire life and have only received positive comments from strangers wearing frames that Margharet helped me choose. The best part of finding frames I enjoy wearing is the attentive and elegant Margharet. Her excellent customer service has made me a loyal customer!

Ok so I have been wearing glasses since I was 6! I am now in my 8th year of being 39 and I have never had so many people stop my and ask about my glasses. All of my friends commented on them immediately once I got them. They don't just sit on my face. They compliment my features and actually make me look and feel even better than I do without them which is new for me. I have always felt better in contacts or contacts and sunglasses:). Now I can't remember the last time I reached for my contacts. Margharet is absolutely wonderful and so kind. I was a little intimidated by how swanky the shop is. It seemed super high end and even though I am used to spending lots of $$$ on frames and lenses having purchased many in Tribeca and SoHo over the years, I still felt like I'd be walking into Chanel or something. NOT SO. Margharet could not have been more welcoming and actually all of her frames, despite being unique and super high end, cost the same as any other place with frames I have ever been to or checked out in the past. The level of service is beyond any I have ever experienced when getting frames. There's not a single reason to go anywhere else for frames and lenses in my mind. She will even work with frames you bring in from elsewhere THOUGH her selection is way better I assure you!

Excellent service and products! I've just started wearing glasses recently and hated them...mostly because of fit of most glasses and the styles just didn't suit me. The owner of the shop is EXCEPTIONAL at making sure glasses are perfect for your face and finding suits you. Also, her styles are better than most stores I've seen in Manhattan and just about anywhere else in the country (men and womens). The service was fantastic. I purchased two pair on site just randomly stopping in, which is two more than I've purchased in 5 years, thanks to their incredible service and stock. Excellent experience all around. To me, this is the best glasses store in all of Connecticut. I highly recommend it.

Margaret at Optical Shop of Westport took great care of me. This is a beautiful shop with highly personalized service and a broad selection of fashionable frames. Also, the turn-around time with my glasses was way faster than expected. I highly recommend this shop. By far the best optical shop in Fairfield County -- with a very knowledgeable and caring staff.

Fabulous selection of frames that you will not find in other optical shops. Customer service is great. Margharet takes her time with you and you never feel rushed. We have found the Optical Shop of Westport to be the best source for eyeglasses in the area. Margharet has a great eye for choosing the style and frame size/type that will complement any face. She has a wide selection of classic and more fashion forward frames and is patient, astute and pleasant during the selection process. We have had several pairs of glasses made here and are thrilled with them all. She recently helped me with a pair of glasses that I had broken (old ones, not from her shop) and couldn't have been more helpful. The shop is in a convenient location, is clean and comfortable and there is easy parking.
