My family has been a customer for ~5 years, - They always squeeze me in for a quick appointment when I have a glasses emergency (with 3 kids, glasses don't last) - They have cutting edge tech, which means you don't need dilation drops and a blast of pressurized air into your retina - They're always nice to me almost over the top nice. - The doctor there knows my favorite eye doctor I had in NYC. Good people know good people. - I don't understand the negative reviews. The first time I came in (based on my wife's recommendation) I did have a tense moment with a guy who doesn't seem to work there anymore, but even that instance was put behind us, and I was able to interact with this guy for years just fine.

I have been a patient of Vision Consultants for most of my adult life. First in the Stamford office with Dr. Castaldi, then the Wilton office. Luis Garcia made my glasses for years. I now travel from Bridgeport to to Wilton to see Dr. A, who is very thorough, patient and caring. He reviews my history every time and has been very accurate with my prescriptions, always encouraging me to come back if anything feels off. I have purchased many pairs of very high-quality frames there in the past. While more expensive than other places, the frames last and are timeless. I just put new lenses in my old frames because they stood up to style. They always give me my prescription on paper so I have the choice of buying glasses or contacts from them or somewhere else--no questions asked. If you want an eye doctor that knows you, remembers you, it is worth it. It is to me.

I can't recommend Vision Consultants of Wilton enough! They are incredibly attentive, kind, and always take the time to explain my charts and test results, making sure I fully understand everything. I've been going for years, and it's consistently the best doctor experience I've had. The entire practice and staff are just wonderful!

Dr Alling is terrific! He's a good doctor and incredibly patient, kind, and easily available when needed. He's helped me through both vision and more complicated eye health issues and has treated the whole family. Everyone in the office is professional and nice. I've been with two different vision insurance plans and both are accepted. Wilton is lucky to have this office in town!

These guys are the greatest. Sometimes it's busy but so worth the wait. Dr A is so incredibly meticulous he gets my script perfect every time. Luis makes my glasses so on the mark and comfortable, I've never even once had to return for an adjustment. Shay the receptionist couldn't be more pleasant and professional. I recently moved 90 min away and still make a point to come back here so what does that say?

I've been going to Dr. Castaldi for ten years and he's awesome. So caring and attentive to my whole family. The staff does their best to try to accommodate you if you have an issue like eye infections to get a speedy appointment. I appreciate their care. Luis fitted me for eyeglasses recognizing that I had a budget. They are great.

Dr. Alling is such a great optometrist. After I got LASIK and went through pregnancy/nursing, my eyes were a mess and had GPC and MGD. Awful. But he has been so thorough in helping me and has consistently given me extraordinary care. My eyes have improved so much with him. I really can't say enough good things about him. He is very knowledgeable and really cares, and never gets annoyed with my 100 questions or rushes me out. Highly, highly recommend.

I have been a very, very pleased patient and customer for at least 7 years. At the age of 60 I have been to many doctors, opticians, dentists, surgeons, and more. I only entrust my health/body to those professionals of the highest knowledge, integrity, and professional concern. I have complete confidence in Dr. Castaldi, Mr. Garcia, and entire staff. I have lived in and around the Wilton, CT area almost 50 years. I can choose many, many, many other optical practices....But, Vision Consultants is the only practice where I go because eyes are extremely complicated and never take a chance with my vision. Too, we customers/patients are difficult to deal with at times in life ourselves though we may not realize it. Customers can bring problems on ourselves at times and not actually the business owner at fault . One does not get to be a Doctor or Licensed Optician if they do not know what they are doing. Constant continuing education requirements too. Insurance companies are incredibly hard to deal with too. ---I am not related to any of them in any way, no business relationship, not paid for writing this review, nor requested to write this review.
