!!MARIBEL, NORBERTO, MARIETA!!- You 3 should feel ashamed of yourselves. DO NOT GO HERE -- HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, RUDE OWNER, AND THEY DESTROYED MY GLASSES. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I walked into this place today just to have a tiny screw tightened on my glasses. That's it. I didn't ask for repairs, I didn't ask for heat, I didn't ask for anything else. The employee, Marieta, took my glasses to the back without asking and put them under heat -- when she came back, the frame was hot and my anti-glare coating was burned and ruined. When I calmly told her what happened, she denied everything. Then I asked to speak to the owner, Maribel, and I have never been treated so horribly by someone. She was rude and defensive. She kept interrupting me, wouldn't let me speak, and told me it was "my word against her employee's." She refused to take responsibility and acted like I was making it up. Then she brought out a man named Norberto, who joined in to attack me -- both of them standing there calling me a liar, a scammer, and accusing me of trying to get something for free. I began to cry. He and Maribel said I was being dramatic ("teatro" en spanish"). Nobody believed me. They made me feel like a thief when I would never do such a thing. They ruined my lenses that I take very good care of because they are so delicate and important. I cannot afford to repair these damages!!!! Still, they said I came in with "old and damaged" glasses. I've never been so humiliated. I went in asking for help and left feeling bullied, insulted, and heartbroken. These people have no ethics, no empathy, and no respect for their customers. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they ganged up on me, called me names, and made me feel like trash. In the end, they "offered" to replace my lenses with the cheap, basic kinds -- nothing like the anti-glare, transition lenses I had saved up for before -- and acted like they were doing me a favor. If you value your money, your vision, or being treated like a human being, stay far, far away from this place. Maribel and her staff should be ashamed of themselves.

When I told her what happened, she instantly denied it. Then came the owner, Maribel, who was unbelievably rude and defensive from the moment she opened her mouth. She talked over me, wouldn't let me explain, and kept saying it was "my word against her employee's." Not once did she show an ounce of professionalism or empathy. And if that wasn't enough, she brought out Norberto, who joined in on attacking me. Both of them accused me of lying, of being a scammer, and said my glasses were already old and damaged when I walked in. I stood there crying, completely alone, being humiliated in front of strangers while they mocked me and said I was putting on a "show." My glasses were not old or broken -- I take care of them like gold because they're expensive and I depend on them to see. They destroyed them in seconds, then tried to gaslight me into believing it was my fault. They made me feel worthless, like I was trying to steal something, when all I did was ask for help. No one deserves to be treated like that. Their "solution" was to offer me the cheapest, most basic lenses possible -- no anti-glare, no transitions, nothing like what I had before -- and then acted like they were doing me a favor. This business has no morals, no integrity, and no compassion. Maribel is one of the rudest "professionals" I've ever encountered. They ruined my glasses, made me cry, and insulted me to my face. If you value your dignity, your money, and your eyesight, STAY AWAY from this place. Maribel, Norberto, and Marieta -- shame on you.

Great location in Coral Gables. Have been coming here for years highly recommend Dr. Miriam Mendivil, she diagnosed me w a rare condition and quickly referred me to a surgeon.

According to Florida law, an optometrist's prescription is valid for two years. However, in my case, they are refusing to follow this guideline and are insisting that I return within one year for another exam. This is absolutely absurd, as I do not have any pre-existing conditions and am not a high-risk patient. It seems they are doing this solely to bill the insurance

No need to make an appointment, they'll make you wait over an hour for your exam. The cliental is elderly, if you're young with life left and little time to spare - do not come here.

They totally took advantage of my 88 year old mother. Charging her Medicare card. I would not trust this business. Will never go there again!
