Okaloosa Eye Care

I don't know how I feel about posting this review because today was the first time this is ever happened to me. I see Dr. Wanda Batson for contact lenses and I've had several issues with contact lenses most of them due to my own fault but anyway this past Sunday, my eye started hurting really bad because I had left my contact in too long and got a bacterial infection. I saw another doctor named Dr. White. He actually met me at the office on Sunday. He was fantastic very caring very knowledgeable and helped me a lot. I went back for a follow up appointment today to see Dr. Wanda Batson and she really was not acting like herself at all. Usually, she's warm and friendly. He likes to talk about things in the family, but this time she was not she practically chewed me out because of the issues I was having with contacts said she was no longer going to prescribe the contacts for me while I understand that yes I have had some issues with them and I really don't mind being taken off the contacts. It was just the way it was said in the attitude that she had as I was leaving, she barely spoke and said merry Christmas never look directly at my face just looked away. I don't know what was going on. I don't know what caused this but I honestly felt like crying , I guess the whole thing just really hurt my feelings

All team members that I've come across have been so happy and kind. Dixie has always been so sweet when checking in and picking up glasses. Of the providers here, I see Dr. Chelsea Evans, who does an amazing job and is very knowledgeable. This office always has a great selection of frames for adults and for children. Today, Allie helped us with new glasses for my son and she was wonderful and patient with him. Our questions and concerns are always addressed at every visit and feel that they are very thorough and knowledgeable. We look forward to our visits here!

I recently had an appointment at Okaloosa Eye Care. I had never been there before. I'd like to thank Dr. Robby Evans for the excellent care I received during my visit. I'm a senior citizen and sometimes have trouble articulating exactly what I want to say. He was very patient, listened and did not hurry me along. My vision is so much better and I am thankful to him. A big thank you to the staff as well. Everyone I encountered was kind and had a big smile. The facility was clean and well kept. The selection of frames was just enough. Not overwhelming. I highly recommend Okaloosa Eye Care to anyone looking for eye care.

Pleasantly surprised by efficiency of front office staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. Seen for appointment on time. Ms Brie did my testing before Doctor came to see very competent and answered all my questions. Dr Chelsea Evans is awesome I love her. Kind professional and honest. Ms Lisa very helpful with my frame selection that it would compliment my face and accommodate my lens. Please see for yourself.

First experience with Okaloosa Eye Care. After poor management and disappointing customer service at my normal eye care facility in Defuniak Springs, I decided it was time for a change. I was very impressed with Okaloosa Eye Care. Clean and well maintained facility. Best eye exam I have had in years. Very impressed with the optometrist as well as the courteous staff. Very up front and honest about charges, no unexpected upcharges or fees as with my prior provider. 5 stars

I had a fantastic experience at Okaloosa Eye Care with Dr. Chelsea Evans. They were professional, thorough, and caring. The clinic was well-organized, and the staff were friendly. It is also located on main street so it gives you that friendly small town feeling with a southern charm inside and out. I highly recommend them for anyone needing eye care!

I had the nicest experience! Amy was very kind & knowledgable, she went out of her way to help me. Lots of great glasses to choose from. Everyone was very happy & friendly when I went to pick up my husbands glasses. Looking forward to going back!!
