Dr Heaton is absolutely great ! So is Mrs Tracey the receptionist, but whoever the Rude lady is that works behind Mrs Tracey has caused dr Heaton to lose customers , I went in had then tighten my husband's lenses in the frame and she was very Rude !

Save yourself a headache. To start the Dr here is really nice, but his staff is awful. I went in for my eye exam, and explained to him that I wasn't happy with my contacts I had previously been given by a different Dr. He asked what brands I had tried, and I told him only the one since I had just started contacts last year. He told me that he had several brands for me to try and gave me three. I tried them all and one I liked but still had a little dry eye, so I called over and spoke with one of the ladies there. She told me that they have a couple others to come try them out. So I did. When I got there I was explaining that I really liked the one, but my eyes were still getting dry and the side was cracking. This other lady behind her popped in the conversation, and told me I just needed to use eye drops. She made it seem like I was being hard to please when all I was doing was what the Dr told me to do. Well I went on and tried the others and made my choice. So I called and told them that I had decided on a brand. I asked her if she would find out how much they will be with my insurance. She told me she didn't have time that she had another customer. I told her that was fine to please just call me back when she got it. She snapped that it would probably be the next day. I told her that was fine. I waited 2 days and never heard back so I called. The lady that answered the phone this time informs me that they already ordered my contacts, and that they were able to get one box with my insurance which is 150.00. I had already looked on line and I knew I could get a years worth with that allowance. I told her that I didn't ask for them to order them that I only asked for a price. Then I hear the other lady getting a attitude in the back saying that I told her to order them. That was lie why would I have someone order anything without me knowing the cost. Then they tell me it will be three weeks. I told her that I needed her to email a copy of the prescription she said she would. I called my insurance company and told them what happened, so they called them to cancel the order. In the meantime I noticed a email that had been sent that I didn't see. They didn't even order the correct brand. So I called them back, and explained that they had ordered the wrong ones. I asked them to please correct the prescription. The lady gets the biggest attitude tell me that they didn't have to do that, because the brands could be changed by me per a line on the prescription. I explained to her that I had had issues with that before and I would like it changed to the correct brand. She basically tells me no that is how it is. I finally just told her to email me the prescription. She then tells me that she will do it later, because she has other things to do. I advised her that I really needed to get them ordered, and that I had already waited 2 days. She then tells me that this is her first time seeing it come across her desk, and that she would do it when she gets time.

From the moment you walk in until you walk out, you are made to feel welcome. The Doctor is excellent! He genuinely cares They ey his patients! The front staff ( I wish I could remember their name) both are super at their job. They were so helpful in helping me pick out my frames......I hope! Lol just kidding Please go see the guys a Jay vision center!!! You will not be disappointed. Tracey at the front desk is very helpful and kind!

Very fast & friendly. I have a crazy work schedule & they got my daughter & myself in the next day on my only day off. My daughter was super nervous & the doctor was very patient and kind with her, knowing it was her first eye exam. We were both in & out within 30 minutes. Only took about a week for our glasses to come in & they had a wide variety of choices. Definitely will continue going here in the future!

Not one person, including the optometrist, was wearing a mask. There was no social distancing. No sanitizing. When I asked why no one was wearing a mask or practicing sanitary measurements I was told it was their policy to not do that. I canceled my appointment and left immediately. For your own safety I recommend you avoid this place.

They are all very rude they treated me as if I was beneath them very impolite did not try to help accommodate me in anyway they were very snotty when asked for help and prices I was charged 270 dollars outta pocket as well as 400 insurance benefit and was told my plan didn't cover any of my needs come to find out my insurance paid 390 plus my 270 for a-pair of no name frames and transitions and progressive no line bifocals ! I'm now dealing with glasses that have started falling apart the day I got them after waiting a month to receive them these ppl are rip offs and have gotten me 2 years n a row I'd rather not see or pay outta pocket than to get be treated the way they did they are not willing to fix any wrongs or any of there wrong doings I have filled a grievance against them I don't recommend using this provider at all

Just came from Jay Vision Center . My wife had a full eye exam and got new glasses in a little over an hour . An awesome group of people . I highly recommend them .

The staff were polite and helpful. The doctor answered all my concerns in all it was a good experience
