This place is amazing. Let me start off with Dr. Espinosa and her staff. They are very welcoming very patient. My son is autistic and she made it so fun that he clicked with her very fast .she was amazing and very patient with him at all times. I truly recommend this place and if I could give it a 10 star I would. Thank you, Doctor has been awesome. See you next year. :)
I do not recommend this business at all, it has gone downhill fast! I took my daughter in September 21, 2024 and supposedly an order was placed for new glasses and contacts. Usually the contacts come in a two or three days but I followed up two weeks after. It looks like the order was not placed as after I called I received a receipt. As of today, March 31 2025, 6 months after our appointment I have not received her glasses. I called a few times to check up on the order and the young man that answered was so rude. I was placed on hold for more than 30 minutes and when I called back he hung up on me. If you value your time and respect take your business elsewhere.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Staff Behavior - Employee Gloria
Dear Kendall Eye Center Administration, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had at your center, specifically involving a staff member named Gloria, who unfortunately refused to provide her last name when asked. I want to begin by clarifying that this complaint is in no way directed at the doctor, who has been treating my son for over four years. She has always demonstrated extraordinary patience, warmth, and professionalism, and I remain sincerely grateful for the care she provides. However, I feel compelled to bring to your attention the unacceptable behavior displayed by Gloria. I had an appointment that had been scheduled for over a month. Due to multiple personal constraints, I could not reschedule this visit. I kindly tried to explain this to her, but she repeatedly spoke over me, refused to listen, and dismissed everything I attempted to say. Most concerningly, I tried to explain that my son is autistic and that preparing him for medical appointments requires a carefully structured routine. I spend days preparing him mentally and emotionally to avoid stress and disruption. Instead of acknowledging this with even basic empathy, Gloria stated firmly that she would block our account and that I should never return to the center. When I asked if I could speak with another staff member or a supervisor, she denied me that right and aggressively replied:
"Oye, aqui con quien vas a hablar es solo conmigo, asi que no llames mas."
She then followed with:
"No me importa lo que pase despues, yo soy quien decide y aqui no se va a atender mas a tu hijo."
Her tone was aggressive, unprofessional, and entirely devoid of compassion. The experience left me deeply distressed -- not only as a parent of a special needs child, but as a long-standing and respectful client of your practice. I am requesting that this situation be taken seriously and that appropriate disciplinary or corrective action be considered. At the very least, no employee should have the authority to speak to patients this way or to threaten their continuity of care, especially when it concerns a child with special needs. Furthermore, denying access to speak with a supervisor or another representative is both unethical and contrary to standard healthcare practices.
I respectfully ask for a written response acknowledging receipt of this complaint and detailing any actions that will be taken. Again, I reiterate that my complaint is directed solely at the conduct of Gloria, not the medical care my child has received at your center.
I've been bringing my son here for the past three years, and we've always had a great experience. He's usually pretty picky, but he feels super comfortable and happy at this location. The staff is warm and attentive, and it really shows.
If I could give a 0 star I would. From the second I walked into the place I was greeted by a rude lady. After a few minutes of talking to her and her attitude, I decided these place was not for me. I said thanks but don't worry about it. I turned around and started to walk out. The lady followed me out and started belittling me and slammed the door behind me. I am so glad I left. The lady is very unprofessional and one the rudest person dealt with in a customer service. Take your business elsewhere
Been taking my girls here a few years and they are always kind and professional. This year especially they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Forever grateful for the wonderful staff at Kendall eye center.
I have been coming here for the last 7 years and I can not think of anything negative to say. The staff is so welcoming and friendly, they take there time to help you pick your glasses. The Dr. is very attentive, professional and welcoming person as well. I personally wear contacts and she made sure I knew how to put them on and felt comfortable with them. Not many Dr. take their time because they are rushing patients out the door. Thank you Dr. Espinoza and the Kendall staff for always making my visit a delight. :)
Dr. Espinoza was very professional and very attentive. I called and did not have an appointment, she went ahead and took care of my 2 daughters. (11&9). She was very pleasant and kind. The eye exams were done in such a professional manner. We are very pleased with her service. We will definitely come back to her for all our eye Care needs for all our family. The prices are affordable as well. Thank you so much. God bless.
